10 “goal involvements” (goals and assists) in 16 appearances so far this season. 25 g+a in 46 appearances last season.
He tends to play slightly right of centre which would dove tail well with Leaburn and TC as an alternative to Luke Berry.0 -
Swansea have made a bid for Joe Low which could mean another bid for Jones from Wycombe0

Can he make the step up to league1 though? I'd like us to take the risk and find out.

Rated as Notts County’s best player in FM too 👀

Feels like a Collins type rumour, heavily linked before he signs for someone else because he was too expensive8

Unless it's a loan who is hungry to break into the team to be acknowledged by his parent club.
Whenever we sign these championship rejects, they usually fail to deliver. All our best business in league1 recently, has mainly been picking up standout players for a cheap fee from clubs around us or below.
Alfie May, CBT, the snake, Lloyd Jones, Ricky Holmes, Dobson.
I don't know what these scouts and recruitment specialists are paid to do, but I question their experience and football knowledge. Cause if we have one of the highest budgets in the league, and we can't identify the best players in this league then we have some serious issues.
Far too much cash splunked on has beens and players who don't have the character to play for this club.2 - Sponsored links:

Saw Crowley v Bromley earlier this season.
He looked decent but the thing I remember him for the most was how much he enjoyed winding up the Bromley fans.
It's a tight/close ground with fans very close to the pitch and on one occasion he won a foul and went down like he had been shot, holding his leg.
As he lay "in pain" on the ground and out of eye line of ref and linesman he gave a cheeky smile and wink at the Bromley fans.
I wanted County to win despite having always lived in Bromley so found it funny, those around me didn't. 🤣
Ed. The Notts player who really stood out as way better than that level was Jodi Jones, a winger too... But he really does have a very Charlton-esq injury record so too much of a punt for me.6 -
I’m very worried about losing Lloyd Jones. If he won’t sign a new deal and we receive a half decent offer I’m sure the SMT will cash in.7

But yeah Cheltenham, Morecambe and Notts County since, what went wrong?2 -

I noticed a few players on loan at L1 clubs are being recallied by their parent clubs. Aaron Morley, who has been one of Wycombe's best players is set to return to Bolton. He has two years left on his contract and Bolton will want a fair wedge, so win/win for Boton.
Another one i noticed and more worrying for Stockport is Louie Barry going back to Villa. He'll have a Championship loan lined up.0 -
Bit of a random rumour, and I don't know how true it is, BUT, Tayo Edun allegedly seen at the Cheltenham vs Notts County game.

With the mention of Dan Crowley, we may see Tayo Edun head the other way in a bit of a deal?
Apparently, Lucas Ness is doing quite well there when he does feature, so they may be happy to sign more of our players? Never know.
Thought it was worth a share.
Tayo also mentioned on the Notts County messaged boards, seems like it may have legs this rumour?

Notts County also have a thread up on their forum about Crowley, and the general view seems to be they think he's worth between 100-250k.
If that really is his value, seems like it would be worth the risk. Of course it's just guesswork, and not my money.

It is interesting that we have had a Charlton fan say his Notts mate said he heard a rumour, a twitter rumour pops up, and now we hear of Edun at a Notts game watching.

Really like the look of Crowley.
Definitely Berry competition, which is exactly what we need. Gets in other teams faces and for a little bloke, scores an extraordinary amount of headers.
Jonny on the spot type0 -

These are the sort of deals I imagine we’ll look out for, as I can’t see us paying big money for anyone. I doubt we paid a big up front fee for Adhadme, and we know we haven’t for anyone else.5 - Sponsored links:

Oh gawd, I hope not. If so, the bloke who signed that off needs binning.

Edun to Notts County would be an interesting one. Jodi Jones is their main LWB and have Nick Tsaroulla they signed from Crawley in the summer as cover so maybe they see him as a midfielder too?

Question is... When will Cawley come along with a single tweet and end our hopes of signing Crowley... Bet he does it right before we play Crawley too22
