Big shoutout for the ref, who in the last 10 minutes gave everything to them. Also restarted the game with a free kick to them when the ball went out for a throw, during the Leaburn incident.12

People say AMB should’ve done better for their goal in the players marks.Am I the only one who thinks he had no chance of saving that?29

Second half was the best performance this season. We made Wycombe look average throughout, but we were aggressive with it after HT.
Superb finish from Leaburn for the second goal. TC was a menace all game and only his lack of experience/composure in front of goal stopped him from getting on the score sheet.
Only negatives for me were how much poorer Ahadme and Anderson were compared to who they replaced, and the persistence with playing Sweet Caroline so loudly after a win.5 -

I feel for AMB. Playing behind a decent defence instead of that crock of rubbish we had last year he looks a perfectly decent keeper at this level. But sadly there are some who just seemingly want to continue to criticise no matter what he does.22 -
Was thinking of going today but I did my back in a couple of days ago so gave it a miss. Serves me right for being a wuss. Hopefully this will continue for the Crawley game and I can enjoy being in attendance for a win for the first time since Birmingham.
Also some of their lot seem to have let their high position go to their head. Don't think I've ever read such crap about why they lost from any other team.

Glad my result prediction was reversed. Whatever the reasons for the transformation in form, I'm happy to give NJ some credit for it as I can't be bothered trying to contrive a narrative as to why it's achieved in spite of him rather than because of him, and I don't believe that anyway.

Sore throat, hacking cough( and you know what that invariably leads to...thank you Tena Lady) meant the Fanackapans watching the stream today...lightweights.
I have now been reduced to an over the moon, but blubbering wreck.
Well done to those who braved the chilly morning to cheer on our lads and were the 12th man/woman. And apologies once again to our neighbours whose relaxing, quiet day was disturbed by intermittent screams around the 50 minute mark. Even the dog put his paws over his ears....
What a brilliant performance! THIS is why football has been called The Beautiful Game.
Just what has transformed the hoofers into brave, ball playing maestros ? And what a controversial but successful team selection by the gaffer ! Brickbats have been aimed in his direction of late including those from East Sussex but it seemed that man was NOT for turning...until the 2nd half of the Mansfield match showed us a glimpse of what was to come.
We now look a like a TEAM. Everyone playing for each other...and reaping the benefits.
Eleven MOTM awards should be given today. Plus a cheeky one for NJ. All SO deserved.
And an Oscar for Alex M for his Jason Pearce impression which gave us a well deserved breather !
Thank you, Charlton. You've made an old gal very happy. Long may it last.
Is it too premature to state with some confidence that " We have OUR Charlton back " ?

What a win, onwards and upwards from here.
He looks so much like his mum - Tracey (and Carl) must be so proud of him..4 -
Just read the match thread. Oh dear @golfaddick, you been on the sauce? 200k? 😂😂😂😂13

Some of the criticism at HT was laughable. We played well today and are improving - given how bad we were I'm very pleased.
Much more solid at the back and we pressed them well up front. Bags of energy today.

Can't believe some have said AMB should've done better with the goal, absolutely no chance.24

The big difference for me over the past few games has been Berry playing as the advanced midfielder.
He should have scored today and put the lovely ball through to Leaburn.
He's always looking to get in and around the box and looking to get shots away.8 -

I’m I the only one that thought it was 0-0 at half time and Leaburns first goal was at the start of the second half?

Two good finishes by Leaburn. Second one is very tough for a tall player to get ball out of feet quickly but was a very composed finish. Showed real class. Unusual to see a 6,6 player who is so athletically built and has an element of abiity on the ball. He is a long way from a finished article. Almost every part of his game can be improved but the potential is huge for a guy with his physique and athleticism.
Defence looked very well organised and we look so hard to break down at the moment. On the ball, still lacking quality in open play for the most part but TC's pace gives us an out and Small adding to the attack.
On a side note, that Kone looks the real deal. Think he'll be playing in Premier League within a couple of years. He's a cut above strikers I've seen in this division.0 -

Get well soon @F@"Fanny Fanackapan" I’ve had it since Christmas Day 🤧2 -
Would I be right in thinking we haven't dropped a single point all season when in a winning position? That ability to see out games when we are winning is definitely a massive improvement this season.9

That was a cracking performance this afternoon. It’s taken 4 months into the season but we’ve stumbled on a line up that works. We’ve so much better balance with Edwards and Small giving us width (big shout to TS) and Miles gives a focal point at a totally different grade to Ahadme. Ball staying further up the pitch for longer means defence has more time to get organised.
Miles’ quality won us the game, make no odds about that. We would have lost the game otherwise as neither goal would have come. Makes some of the comments from just a fortnight ago seem so stupid. Some fantastic effort today and the workrate of players like Campbell was terrific.Concern now is there are a few players there that look like they are ready for a break. Can those coming in maintain the new levels?Regardless of Crawley outcome, it’s been an excellent week. Take a bow all involved31 -

NJ: "There's a lot of stats there and you're quick enough to give me stats of one win in nine and all that malarkey but we've really backed that up now and come through a tough, tough spell. I keep saying this is a tough place to play at times." #cafc

Jones in.
Haha in all honesty they've done well to turn things around the last few games and long may it continue. Some winnable games coming up and we really need to back these results up. If Wycombe can go 19 games unbeaten...

PMSL at this one:"Asked NJ about Small at RWB: NJ: "Someone sent me a nice little Christmas card asking me not to play TC at right wing back. We don't want to play TC at right wing back but we haven't got an option there. We've asked Thierry, he's been wonderful and I'm proud of the kid.""13
