To be fair even Turki Alalshikh said he didn't agree with the decision.

Personally watching it live i felt Bivol edged it. I can't see how he didn't win at least 6 rounds so a draw at worst and no way he should've lost. In a close fight though it only needs a couple of judges to score a couple of rounds the other way and a 7-5 Bivol becomes a 7-5 Beterbiev. The 116-112 scorecard seems very harsh though. Also looking at the fighters reactions at the end i felt like Beterbiev thought he'd lost, looked a bit dejected standing in his corner.

Full credit to Bivol though, he didn't moan, said he's not making excuses, just accepted it and said we move on and wants a rematch.

Overall it's a shame there's controversy as i thought it was an incredible fight, one of the best i've seen in recent years and they have to do it again.

Even though I slightly fancied Beterbiev to win on points and was prepared to put a score on it, I felt Bivol won by at least 3 rounds. Not  complaining mind.

Confirmed that Fraser Clarke had surgery last night to repair a broken jaw. No surprise when you saw the state of his face after the knockdown.

Only Lennox appeared to come out of his boxing career and not run into the huge problems of the other three.

Granted Tyson is in his late 50s, they are using bigger, softer gloves, only 8 x 2 min rounds...
but surely it only takes Tyson one punch to do Paul some damage?

But then listening to Billy Joe Saunders on Talksport yesterday lunchtime, he says anyone thinking Tyson will be able to cope with 8 x 2 min rounds is off their rocker.

Now looking at becoming the biggest ever PPV event in America.  Like seriously WTF.

That's a bit misleading though. It's going to be live on Netflix which has over 280 million subscribers worldwide so unless there are tons of people out there who don't have an account and are desperate to sign up, i'd imagine 99% of people who do watch it won't be paying anything 'extra' to see it.

It's an incredibly sad day, last time I stayed up to watch a Tyson fight, I was 15 and he was banging people out in seconds. I really hope it's not fixed.

Of Course it is. It's a form of WWE Circus boxing . Tyson will lose on purpose . Pocket his $15Mil and Jake Paul will continue to con millions of of his fans while saying he beat Tyson. 

Well yeah, thats why I say hope though, incredibly sad night for boxing and my childhood memories.

I'm not really sure I even fault Tyson for it too much, at his age I can't really say I wouldn't be tempted to get one last big pay off in the same circumstances.

Shame for boxing as a sport of course but this sort of shit has been coming honestly. 

Would be great if Tyson can bang him out in the first round. I think this fight is only even a thing because there's the chance that "Tyson only needs 1 punch to KO him".

In reality though i expect after an initial flurry, Tyson will gas out (even with 2 minute rounds) and Paul will beat him later on. It was just a couple of years ago that Tyson was pictured in a wheelchair with sciatica.

I don't Blame Tyson at all. It's just a shame the attention it gets as it's so obviously a farce. 

Agreed, sadly this is just the next step along a route that has been coming for a while with all the YouTube "boxers", Macgregor vs Mayweather etc nonsense.

Depending on what time it's shown over here, I'll be watching and rooting for Iron Mike to smash him good & proper.

I think it’ll be a set up draw…but would love to see Mike smash him up.
