Happy with how we line up if it is a 442 diamond. Like I proposed on the preview so not much for me to moan about.1
-
I wouldn't recommend it. @ross1 would probably hunt you down for getting him unnecessarily excited.ForeverAddickted said:Just a quick Q... Are we allowed to go "GOALLLLLLLLLL" if the U21s score during the First Team game?

You know how I mocked you the other day when you said the Bristol Rovers game was one where all three results could happen? This game feels like paybackthai malaysia addick said:If the diamond doesn’t work, Jones might switch it to a rhombus. That’ll fool Brum.0 -
I'm in me 40s now Leuth... You could mention something from last Saturdays match and I'll look at you with the blank look of some old man as he doesnt realise he's pissing himself.Leuth said:
You can't remember the Great Appleton Extraction Event?ForeverAddickted said:

Anderson against Cambridge in the EFL TrophyLeuth said:Has a player been sent off for us under Jones yet btw?
Only Edun was sent off last season, cant even remember when though6 -
Do we always warm up until this late? Brum went back in at least 5 mins ago. Not that it matters massively just thought it was interesting0

I think Anderson is RWB, jones - mitchell- Ramsay as a 3. Edward’s lwb0
-
I probably would not believe it to be the first team, and it would be good to get excited at my age 😁aliwibble said:

As the Charlton players leave the pitch after their warm up Chuks has been out there practising his headers at goal from wide crosses.
Thankfully he's been heading them all downwards towards goal so none hit the bar or went sailing over ... albeit with no-one challenging him.
Let's see how well he does during the game when he's got a couple of hairy-arsed centre-backs trying to hold him down like Lilliputians tying down Gulliver.1 -
Any reason why?Coveredendchoir said:I think Anderson is RWB, jones - mitchell- Ramsay as a 3. Edward’s lwb
Would prefer it to Sky’s guess tbf.

Could be worse, could be Stephen Humphrys and Ivan ToneyBriston_Addick said:
Just wait until the round of second half subs when we're pushing to get a winner.aliwibble said:
Anderson will go off to be replaced by Tyreece leaving us with an AC/TC pairing at half-forward.
Will we be Thunderstruck or will it be Hell's Bells, It's A Long Way To The Top?0 -
It's not quite as bad as playing Tyreece at LWB, but it's not far off.

Who's the bunch of identically suited folks in the directors' box? Is it the Brum lot? Appalling0

See... they're talking about Mitchell scoring on Tuesday and I'd completely forgotten!!

I notice we turf out Mitchell a lot for these sort of things, do like his attitude and what he says, would be a decent Captain option imo4

Idiots. And I'm keeping my gob under control there.Briston_Addick said:Birmingham team being read out at the ground.
Skipper Krystian Bielik got polite applause, the number 9 wasn't greeted quite so nicely.
Can't remember when I approached a league game so early in the season with such a feeling of utter dread. NJ has obviously thought about what's not worked, and tried to change things. And that's about all I can say. We will need to score at least twice to get anything ftom this. Do you see two goals in that team.
I'm glad May starts, to be honest. If he doesn't score NJ may just show us he knows something. But I am sure he will in which case he's teaching NJ a thing or two about people management and basic respect for fellow professionals.1 -

Bartlett and Fish falling foul of the sprinklers.
Am I the only one who thinks they'd walk straight into our starting line up today if they'd brought shorts and boots as well as a shirt?0 -
The Brady Bunch?Leuth said:Who's the bunch of identically suited folks in the directors' box? Is it the Brum lot? Appalling
EDIT: Tom, not Karen.3 -
Here's hoping for a reaction.. can't say I'm confident.0

As much as Brownie may grate to some of you, I still miss him when listening to the randos Sky have had doing our games.

Or you could use Edwards in front of SmallEdwards behind Small preferably then at least we'd have pace on the left.2 -

quite an interesting read .. Charlton Game ‘Training Ground Exercise’ For Birmingham Due To Dominance Says Ex-EFL Star (msn.com)0

I wonder if it takes so long because they have to literally try to push the Charlton players out the dressing room as they plead with the Manager saying: "Please boss.. Please dont send me out there"Briston_Addick said:I wouldn't out money on a prompt 3pm kick off today ...2 -
