Rather he was in there instead of Campbell after his last performance.
Bit harsh on Tyreece. I mean I know he's not a striker, but he's more of one than Taylor.
Just wait until the round of second half subs when we're pushing to get a winner.

Anderson will go off to be replaced by Tyreece leaving us with an AC/TC pairing at half-forward.

Will we be Thunderstruck or will it be Hell's Bells, It's A Long Way To The Top?
    that’s terrible!

Why does it have to be a 'diamond'? Why not just a 442?
You have to be fashionable and edgy these days.
  • That midfield is going to get ruined. K.A and D.K are not good enough to be starting matches. Our recruitment is now showing to be very poor if that's the best we can send out against the league leaders.

Because Jones has had a preference for a diamond or 3-5-2 throughout his career, going even as far back as when he used a diamond when managing our u21s.
  • I expect us to be more competitive today, and maybe we'll get something out of the match, BUT it really annoys me when teams only raise their game in the big games, and as a result drop 6 points from the very winnable games against Stevenage and Bristol Rovers.

Winning those games and losing today would have been a much better outcome

Because our only two natural wingers in the team are Dixon and T.Campbell

Or you could use Edwards in front of Small

  • Birmingham team being read out at the ground.

Skipper Krystian Bielik got polite applause, the number 9 wasn't greeted quite so nicely.
  • Hopefully Anderson is in the 10, don’t trust him further back, and he’s got good energy in the press
  • Kin hell... the lad reading out our team sounds like he doesnt want to be there
  • Someone ask the ref to delay the kick off. Terrible traffic along by the Royal Standard & into the Village.

They should be booing Alfie's wife, not him  :D

Ah but in the league? Just a funny feeling (of DOOM)...
  • Taylor not being selected may be because he is not a Jones signing…
  • Grandson no 2 isn't here today, he's at the Etihad with his mum today for a birthday treat watching City v Fulham (and did the stadium tour this morning) so no doubt he'll see plenty of goals and a home win.

Dad has decided it's too much of a trek coming down to Charlton from Norfolk so he's now got a season ticket at Norwich, he's just seen plenty of goals and a home win.

Which leaves me here, watching this crud. I expect to see plenty of goals ... but no home win ☹️

Our Red Card record has unsurprisingly dropped like a stone since the departure of Inniss

Only Edun was sent off last season, cant even remember when though
  • If the diamond doesn’t work, Jones might switch it to a rhombus. That’ll fool Brum.
  • I dont know if I like the team and shape or not, the wing backs havent exactly wingbacked much and a diamond usually plays pretty narrow, we still dont have any creativity in the middle and will be relying on Kanu moving out wide.

Interested to see how we do as a back 4 but dont think a game against Birmingham was the time to try it though....

  • Down to 15th, is this our true position?
