Brum were passing it around the edge of our area, and a shot from well outside the D hit the top corner.
  • Top bins!!... Great finish... Should have closed him down

But from there, 9 times out of 10 that goes into row Z

Don't think you can blame the keeper but we did give him plenty of space to pick his spot.

This comment means nothing to me
To be honest Ross, you should know exactly what this comment means! I'm sure you've been watching Charlton long enough to understand how things work, especially in cup games.

I don't think I've ever been more sure of anything than I was that TC would miss that penalty. Felt like bravado stepping up but should have been Kanu. I don't like it when crap penalty takers insist on taking them. We're playing quite well though, more aggressive and good off the ball movement. Coventry looks completely in control of the midfield which is nice to see.

Just as I say this they score. Wonder if Mannion should have kept that out.
No chance, perfect bend on it, top corner.

We're always good for a rookie left-back to score a worldie as their first senior goal.
  • Right lets see how we respond... Good chance to show the mentality of the players now.

Grr Berry tries to feed Campbell on the edge of their area, but it's cut out.

Berry should have had the shot for him, then it would have done.

I don't think it was the top corner. I haven't seen enough replays but it looked like it was hit very well but at quite a good height. I'll wait to see it again.

LOL Campbell nudges his marker off the ball, and the ref just shrugs.

Now we are a goal down we need to discover where the goals are going to come from. Not clear yet to me. Three weak efforts from Berry so far.

Compared to that strike, Berry's attempts suddenly look poor, rather than 'getting closer'. Get it on target.

Why do teams always score worldy’s from outside the box against us.

I was about to praise us for seemingly being more aware and blocking a few of those shots already today!

Hmm, reg gives Brum a free kick near the LH corner of our area, wasn't the lino signalling the other way?

Berry wasn't given 10 seconds and about 10 free yards to pick his spot though.

I know it’s only a cup game but this feels like an opportunity to make a statement against the bookies #1 choice. Shame TC kinda ballsed it up cos that was a screamer and I can see it getting their tails up and us really coming under the cosh now.

Lets see what Jones can do from behind.

If you dont take your chances that's what happens.

There wont be too many 1-0 wins in this league.
  • Very close to 0-2 from a well delivered FK, Brum head over the bar though
