If everyone refused to go in protest of these new kick off times (a big IF - I know this won’t happen but just imagine) then they would have to lower prices dramatically to persuade people to go. Without the crowd, the spectacle is ruined. People want to watch an event and without spectators there is no event.6 -
A lot of clubs have a scheme where if a ST holder isn’t able to make a game, they can make their seats available for purchase.
Could easily set up a thread for that on here. I’d happily buy 12:30 KO tickets from other lifers when they can’t use them.4 -
Who in the world wants to watch Charlton vs Orient at 12.30 on the 2nd weekend of the season. It's not quite as bad as Sky showing the reverse fixture on NYE at a stupid time during Powells promotion season

Reality is the majority of people watching us Vs Orient will be people with an interest to the clubs involved. There's multiple games on at that time so unlikely most people will choose to watch us.

Probably not many people in ’the wider public’ will actually watch it but it will be on in pubs, and in people's homes while they make lunch or get home in the evening and have a cup of tea. People will take notice when a big incident happens but not really be watching. After all, Sky subscribers have bigger and better matches on the same day to sit and watch properly.
If it were on for us terrestrial TV peasants starved of live league football then it may be different.0 -

I know I'm in the minority here but it's good for people like me who don't live near the club so can't get to many games. I do understand that it inconveniences fans. Think it probably does across the full 3 divisions. Costs themselves will be relatively low and they can sell sponsorship off the back of it.jimmymelrose said:

This is about pirate streams, but in this case the copyright holder is knowingly colluding in making the material available in the UK. So good luck to anyone prosecuting that!7 -
