So it is Cosgrove on loan joining Monday7

Flip flop when will it stop.RonnieMoore said:Just think it it was a straight forward loan deal that would have been done and dusted and completed this morning ( I expect the team on their way to Oxford ) I reckon it’s a perm deal now and my moneys on JHC or Collins at BR if BR bring in JHC …
So you're now telling us the complete opposite of what you told us 5 hours ago.
Don't you ever feel embarrassed?2 -

Errr *Monday0 -
I guess Dabo has been offered something not that attractive (pay as you play or similar) is waiting to see if he gets something better before deadline day2

Sauce? And which Monday?RonnieMoore said:So it is Cosgrove on loan joining Monday0 -
Give enough rumours and one is likely to materialise … in the know lol0

Or we haven't offered anything yet, Cawley seemed to suggest when they said he's playing in the unders game no deal was imminentTeeC said:I guess Dabo has been offered something not that attractive (pay as you play or similar) is waiting to see if he gets something better before deadline day0 -

A fan passes on what he has heard and then gets chewed out if it does not happen. Bizarre.
It is almost like those who slag off those who share information have no understanding of the process, agents, the complexity of offers and the total fluidity of it all. They can’t all be so new to football that they have no previous experience of the vagaries of the transfer window, or even be that dense.
Is it jealousy or the joy of being nasty?
Very strange.9 -
Or is it the same old shit spouted week in week out by a few desperately trying to look relevant and superior to others, when in reality they know as much as the rest of us?Redrobo said:A fan passes on what he has heard and then gets chewed out if it does not happen. Bizarre.

Social Media is wonderful for PR people like Charlie - you can get all sorts of people to fly kites on your behalf, and then take credit for what actually happens.NabySarr said:Is that 2 weeks in a row Reams has said we will sign a striker before the end of the week? He also said we’d signed Nombe. Maybe next week he will get it right. Broken clock comes to mind…5 -
Collins of Bristol R would be perfect. He was great against us. Busy, mobile, direct. Him and May would work well together6
-
Cosgrove might suit better in our relegation battle

a fan that constantly and consistently slates, slags off fellow fans - mainly the well respected ones that post on here, but also generally anyone that posts exclusively here - they are very clear on their views on CL (and the moderator in chief sets that tone consistently) on what can only be considered his personal blog, and actively encourages the few that do post, to do the same.Redrobo said:A fan passes on what he has heard and then gets chewed out if it does not happen. yeah that fan. Is it strange that sometimes people choose to fire back? (which i'd add to the credit of the mods on here is actively discouraged and I fully expect a reprimand for even bringing this up)16 -
They are being well backed this season, I think there is zero chance we could afford him. Would be 7 figures, and more expensive than Nombe who we bulked at the price forSwisdom said:Collins of Bristol R would be perfect. He was great against us. Busy, mobile, direct. The Gasheads have just been bought and are spending money, being linked with JCH. I suspect there is more chance of them having the money to buy one of our players than the other way around.2 -
So they're buying Alfie May off us then 😃Athletico Charlton said:Swisdom said:Collins of Bristol R would be perfect. He was great against us. Busy, mobile, direct. Him and May would work well together

deadline day is irrelevant as far as his situation is concerned.
Less relevant but not irrelevant - clubs will want their squads sorted by then and it’s probably a natural time for him to make a decision. I presume he’s not being paid currently.CafcSCP said:

Cosgrove is signing on Monday on a long term permanent loan with a condition that it may be happening any time between now and 2024 or could not happen.
I think that about covers it?6 -
I'd be more concerned as to why the feeder of that information feels the need.Redrobo said:A fan passes on what he has heard and then gets chewed out if it does not happen. Bizarre.

All the more mystifying why Charlie boy, allegedly, associates himself with him.
Charlie surely knows HIS forum/toy and username.1 -

From the username it could be one of our International Addicks, maybe it’s Spanish abbreviated text for ‘Que’ in response to Elfie’s post 😉.eastterrace6168 said:

Positive from the board … that they still want 2/3 players and there’s a healthy sum in the budget that the board have provided
But it’s solely down to Holden and Scott who they want and how they spend that money and won't buy for the sake of it or to appease fans. It has to be the right player. Until then it will loans.Nothing we did not already know you can’t help people who make their own agenda up23
