A fan passes on what he has heard and then gets chewed out if it does not happen. Bizarre. It is almost like those who slag off those who share information have no understanding of the process, agents, the complexity of offers and the total fluidity of it all. They can’t all be so new to football that they have no previous experience of the vagaries of the transfer window, or even be that dense.
Is it jealousy or the joy of being nasty? Very strange.
I'd be more concerned as to why the feeder of that information feels the need. Dushitelet, for all his faults, acted in a professional way. Still does actually.
Positive from the board … that they still want 2/3 players and there’s a healthy sum in the budget that the board have provided
But it’s solely down to Holden and Scott who they want and how they spend that money and won't buy for the sake of it or to appease fans. It has to be the right player. Until then it will loans.
Nothing we did not already know you can’t help people who make their own agenda up
As decent as he was he was also frustrating. Fitness issues aside he also was fairly predictable going forward. Would have been s decent acquisition nonetheless
But we all know him and Clare will be like watching peak Maldini and Baresi when we play them

That was because he was played on the wrong side, hence he constantly used to cut inside.
Either will have to have their game time managed due to their longstanding injuries and yes there needs to be someone in the squad who can cover Asiimwe, but I think in Holdens eyes Asiimwe is his preferred right back/wing back.
I think Dabo has a bigger upside to Sess, is more experienced and if the rumours are true has basically been on a month long trial with us so he should be fit and should know his teammates straight away when he signs
I really don't understand why we let Egbo go with 0 cover at all for an 18 year old who has single digit appearances at senior level. You'd have thought there would have been something lined up immediately with 100% certainty and if there wasn't Egbo should have been kept until that was the case. We now sit in such a fragile position and I'm certain a right back will come in but if he picks up a knock in the first half today we have no cover (and the same for the last few games). It's a major red flag with the ownership for me
So anyway, another Saturday, another “ striker in by the weekend” false dawn. Going to be some real wheeling and dealing during next week, otherwise Charlie will have some explaining to do.
Pissed off already and not expecting to be less so come five o’clock.
I like Sess but that uncertainty around the knee means it wouldn't work with our thin squad. That being said, there's also fitness questions over Dabo (assuming that's who we get instead).
Either way, bizarre we have left it so late on a position we're clearly short in.
If Wigan manage to do something this season with Clare at right back and Sess at left back then I’m giving up, the club is cursed, full backs was one of our biggest struggles last season and half the reason Morecambe and Accrington used to have a field day against us.

Cutting and pasting from other sources and hoping people won't realise and think he's in the know since 1996

Another sick note is the last thing we need.
