    Oh FFS. We are coming back on Easyjet and they have just announced Portuguese crews are striking on the day we are flying. Wouldn't be such an issue, except we are only back two days and then we are off to Berlin for a rockabilly weekender... 

    I think we may be on the Truman show.

    All the dogs looked fed up and stressed so leave them at home when you pop to the shops, no harm will come to them. 
    What sort of a restaurant allows dogs in, that is very very rare.
    Coolings Garden Centre, the cafe was full of them.

    Also to add Cornwall is very dog friendly and plenty of eating establishments allow dogs in.

    Making the fatal error of upgrading my phone online having done little research. Received the phone through the post and 6.5 inch screen is ridiculous big. Though it does make me feel a bit better about other things.

    there i was sat in a pub and i start talking to some bloke about football.
    Mention i'm a Charlton fan. he then says he was an Arsenal fan.
    I say "was". he reply's "yeah i no longer support them because they took the knee" i laughed thinking it was some sort of joke but he was being serious. he no longer supports his team that he has followed since a kid and that his dad took him to Highbury all those years back because they took the knee. really?! ffs.

    "Why do want to work here?"
    "You've advertised the salary at £X, which would be a decent pay rise, and it's easier than my current job...."

    I couldn't honestly say 'the challenge' or whatever given it was obviously a step back!!

    I guess normally the insinuation is that there's a few places you could apply for/earn money, why there?

    I'm always honest in interviews, answer the 'where do you see yourself in 5 years' type questions by saying I don't know exactly, but I'm always keen to learn and progress as you get paid more!

    Depends what area you work in. Anyone answers that when I conduct an interview it’s a green flag from me. You achieve, you get paid more.

    really? it seems rather idk, vulgar? simplistic? selfish maybe. It's honest but it just doesn't seem to be the right response to that question. If your saying it is then next time I get asked that I probably will say it.

    Reminds me of an interview I had many years ago, when I was asked by my interviewer, who was the works manager, what position would you expect to be in a few years time, I answered, YOURS, he left four years later, and I took over his position. 👍

    I work in recruitment mate. The best recruiters that I’ve come across are the ones that are motivated by making as much dough as possible. They do more hours, work harder because they are financially rewarded through results. I’m not saying it’s the right answer to the question but it’s something I like hearing from people.
