RC_CAFC said:Absolutely serves them right for one of the most disgraceful sackings of the last few years. Leam Richardson worked wonders with them, players loved playing under him and they were competing in the championship whilst fully understandably battling it out near the bottom and they’ve just pulled the trigger and gone for a style of play that was never suitable for the players they had. They deserve relegation and I am pretty sure that’s exactly what they’ll get come May.
I'd missed the news that Shaun Maloney had been appointed as Wigan manager. A complete shambles really.

Jesse Marsch sacked by Leeds0

Would be fun if they got Bielsa back.0
-
Corberan's name has been mentioned. A protégé of Bielsa, but has only been at West Brom for a few weeks.1

I honestly have no idea where Leeds go manager wise if it's not Corberan. Do they continue the Red Bull obsession and appoint Hassenhuttl?0

Former Schalke, Spartak Moscow and RB Leipzig boss Domenico Tedesco has been appointed Belgium head coach.
The 37-year-old, who was born in Italy but also holds German citizenship, has signed a contract until after the 2024 European Championship.

3 managers in a season always works well...0
-
And the statement is notable for not even thanking Fotheringham for his efforts and hard work0

Southampton sack N Jones0
-
Not surprised, just felt like he was massively out of his depth. Do wonder where they go next though?1
-
What about the person who appointed him? Will they accept any blame?0
-
I wonder when it will register with owners that maybe its the players who are to blame & if you keep selling your best players & replacing them with inferior ones or ones from the the academy then you are on the road to ruin.0

Weird how Jones can't hack it away from Luton. His whole demeanor at Soton has been a bit off.0

I've heard of some excuses for a defeat but I have to say that this is one of the more unique ones from Nathan Jones!
“To me the 10 men was to our detriment because it made it a free hit for them in terms of stuff,”
“It added more pressure on us and it shouldn’t be like that – we should then control the game."
If, as a Manager, you cannot galvanise your side to beat the opposition that then has 10 men for 70 minutes (when you are winning too) and then have to use that as an excuse, you shouldn't be that surprised if you are shown the door the very next day.
