Last I saw yesterday Grant McCann was the heavy favourite for Pompey.0 -
Interesting, I assumed McCann was still playing musical chairs with Darren Ferguson at Peterborough0
-
Liam Manning has also been linked with Pompey. Plus Cardiff0

Big Mick till the end of the season.MarcusH26 said:0 -
Contract law in Italy meant they kept him instead of going through a load of faff. Imagine being in the Palermo job in the 2010s though...stackitsteve said:Davide Nicola was sacked by Salernitana on Monday after Sundays 8-2 defeat to Atalanta. He has been reappointed today.Quicker comeback than Jesus.

So Sannino and Gasperini both had two spells managing the team during the same 2012/13 season, whereas poor Malesani only had one spell!0

Seems mad Michael Appleton never managed us. We're always hiring new managers, he's always being fired and hired, would have thought we'd be a match made in heaven0

Mick McCarthy potentially in at Blackpool0

As first mentioned yesterday 😉ForeverAddickted said:Mick McCarthy potentially in at Blackpool0 -
Terrible. If we were second bottom in the championship and sacked our manager to bring in Mick McCarthy this site would be in meltdown.0

John Mousinho set to become Pompey Manager

Holden doesn't seem too bad a punt now eh3

Poor man's Jose Mourinho.5

Big gamble from Portsmouth that. Obviously it's a cheap option but every manager has to start somewhere. If it works out it'll look inspired, if it doesn't then the owners are going to get a lot of abuse from their fans.1

Confirmed until the end of the season. Vital we stay up so happy with this but need to prepare for when, and if, we do.ForeverAddickted said:Mick McCarthy potentially in at Blackpool1 -
John Mousinho confirmed as Portsmouth manager
Wonder how their fans feel, first ever role as manager, no experience as assistant either like Jacko had at least(been player coach for oxford this season) and PFA Chairman0 -

A bit behind the Beeb but Lampard sacked according to ITV North West local news although not officially announced as yet. Sean Dyche and Rooney being mentioned as possible appointments.0

Getting his journalist mates to trash the players to save his reputation.2 -
Both Lampard and Gerrard available for punditry duty, but can they work together?26

I’ve got Everton to finish bottom at 40/1 before start of the season. A team who just survived last season sells their best player in Ricarlison and are expected to improve on last season. Everton should have gone last season.SELR_addicks said:

I don't dislike him, just don't think he's a very good manager.SouthWest_Addicks said:

The club is a mess too.1 -
Everton's squad is very un-Bielsa-y at the moment!!SELR_addicks said:3 -
And Bielsa doesn't seem to me the type of manager who can come in midseason, and turn things around to play in his style instantly. He had the whole of preseason with Leeds when he took overNorth Lower Neil said:

Bielsa was taking Leeds down until they sacked him.1

They also would still be stuck midtable in the Championship without him joining.iaitch said:Bielsa was taking Leeds down until they sacked him.6
