  • 5 subs changes the way managers can rotate their squad now. You can keep a consistent starting lineup, then bring on subs to rest some players and give others minutes.

Ryan Reynolds involved in the pre-game presentation here in the States.

”Who better to tell you about England vs USA than a Canadian…? A Canadian that owns a Welsh football team.”
  • In some ways the World Cup is so much better when you don't have the anxiety of having to watch your own team... Especially when England can be so random at times

My fantasy team would love a hat trick each from Kane and Saka. Both assisting each other for all their goals also. Thank you kindly

FFS just realising I can’t stream this on iPlayer and have to watch Fox Sports. Feckin cringey.
    You haven’t got itv?
I do now. Not had luck in the past with the app streaming in the farther reaches of the empire, but we shall see! It’s working now.
Gotta be better than the alternative 🤞🏻

Currently watching the game in an "English" bar on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

The FOX commentators are something else! They just said "hey folks, remember that England have technically never beaten the USA in a World Cup" 🥲

They do have a wide left player called Robinson - credit to them for that. Chances of him getting booked for dissent?
  • THATS it England... cmon more of the same

    Is he the Fulham player?
  • This passing it around at the back with their high press is making me very nervous

Yes. Born and raised in England but chose the US
  • US pressing very well, but how long can they do it for?

Not at it. Trippier been especially poor.
Formation problem. Sterling and Mount hardly had the ball.

Not like we're forcing them to run much though
  • Mount has to do better turning with the ball
  • Cmon referee... How long did you need before blowing for a foul on Mount
  • Fucking wake up
  • Wake up FFS!!

These lads are cruising. Playing like they're already through. Application akin to a CAFC away performance
