Perhaps he will back himself to keep them up and fair play to him it will be some achievement if he does. I just don't see him having any plans to be in the championship next year which is a huge possibility for Norwich and even if he left at the end of the season if they do go down you wouldn't think half a season at Norwich with a relegation on your CV would attract many Premier league suitors.2 -

I saw today that apparently Dean Smith had interviewed for the Norwich job as well and I think he would surely be the stand out appointment. If you'd said even a month ago that he was being linked with the Norwich job most would have laughed but if he is genuinely interested as is seemingly being portrayed in the media then I think Norwich should snap his hand off.1 -

Dean Smith .. nice bloke and all that but for my money a manager better suited to the Championship than the Prem .. and I reckon the Champ is where he will be managing next season1

My guess is Evans will take that. Strange as it looks on paper.0

That makes no sense. Gillingham may be going nowhere, but Stevenage are a struggling L2 club with no expectations of going rising higher1

I can only assume that there are more “all you can eat” buffets in Stevenage.7

Stevenage knocked MK Dons out of the cup last night, so maybe it's worth giving their caretaker manager a few more games.0

Gills are struggling for players and Evans has already hinted he doesn't want to work where his hands are tied.
I also sense some frostiness between manager and owner (Scally). Recently gills kick off time in the fa cup at home v Cheltenham was changed in the week leading up to the game from 3pm to 2pm. Some fans understandably kicked off about it due to short notice. I saw an interview with Scally the other day who said that he had no knowledge of it until the eve of the game and it had been arranged by the manager.2 -

Stevenage have offered a similar contract as the Jills, with one exception.
He'll get 50% ownership of this.

Are Stevenage still sponsored by Burger King? - It could be the deciding factor6
