Bowyer progress at Birmingham

But that's not necessarily a bad thing perhaps. I'm sure he'll probably have a fairly decent career, just probably not one spending years in the Premiership (as a manager/coach.)1 -
Not sure that's fair really. Seems to be doing a grand job at Brum.3

Spoke to a Brummy fan recently absolutely loves Bowyer and has got them really playing for the shirt, how long he can keep it going for…1

I note from an article on the BBC sport website in midweek that the injuries are stacking up at Brum and Bow was crying out for reinforcements in Jan.
Tatih Chong, for one, on loan from Man utd has been a key player and will now miss 5 months. Yet Bow wants to retain the loan to allow for his return in the spring.
Brum aren't big spenders these days. I hope this doesn't have a ripple effect on us with Leko.5 -

Ended 6-2. Same scoreline as at the weekend. No goal for Mitrovic in the end. They must’ve marked him well

I’ve seen some wheels go flying past my front door, I think they may have come off the Birmingham coach3

We drew 2-2 there he should have stayed!0

I was reading some Birmingham stuff last night. They are not happy with their owner and assorted shenanigans there but they are also massively turning on Bowyer. Apparently using long throws a lot and “hoofball” tactics are neither pretty nor effective. He also seems to be stuck as to what to do to remedy the situation. All rings vaguely familiar if you ask me and I’d suggest he’ll be on his toes before the end of the season7

As ever in football I’m not sure what they expect. Disgruntled fans, little investment, stadium issues and years of struggling on the pitch.
Bow was good but he’s not a miracle worker6 -
Bowyer is just about par for the course at Brum looking at their performance for the past 4 or 5 years. They usually rely on a new manager bounce at some point during a season to keep themselves above that dotted line.
I expected no different this season despite a promising start to the campaign, although 2 rivals being deducted a combined 27 points has helped out Bowyer no end. Otherwise they would be currently just 5 points away from the trap door with the 3rd bottom team having a game in hand at a point in the season where owners start to panic.

Given he’s got one for striker, lost his best player to injury I think he’s doing ok.
That club needs some continuity (and new owners) I hope Bow gets to do the job for them5
