    Nah I think we’re watching the same game just looking at different elements of the game. I think Gomes did a good job of looking at runs in behind, good distribution to the wings. Downside he had his pocket picked a couple of times but would more often than not have Dobson tidying up should be play for us competitively.

    Great goal by Davison and Gomes looks good....I remember him for Donny and though he was a good player. Loved the press in 2nd half.

    Personally thought every one of our players did well enough for League 1 top 6 today.

    He looks awkward, and panicked on the ball, his first touch got him in to trouble a number of times. I personally feel he doesn’t improve the squad.

    If Maatsen opted for the Championship over us, its clear we're not going to settle for Purrington and Gunter or a youngster there

    Please no. We suffered really badly last season because we lacked proper defensive cover. We needed a left back and a cb even before Purrington was injured. Now they are essential this week.

    He did and you can play a Gunter or Matthews or even a JFC there as a one off.  You can't have Purrington who, to be fair, isn't probably good enough to be first choice anyway, as your only senior left back.

    Left back is certainly on the improve, not depth, list.
