Who the feck is Man of the Match from this lot tonight though?
Probably Maguire for me. Last line of defence so many times and also got his goal.

Fivehead. Perfectly timed goal, and not put a foot wrong all night.

I don’t wanna go OTT but this performance gives better vibes than anything I’ve seen over watching England since 1996. We’ve absolutely smashed them and now we get to play potentially two games at Wembley to win a major tournament. Southgate you fucking legend.

Those 3 subs never came on as the ref couldn’t be bothered to play any more time, despite all the England subs  :D

No added time at all. Like stopping a boxing match early.

Lots of confidence on this thread and throughout the country. From what i have seen of Ukraine they are quick on the attack. a hell of alot quicker than us.

Think this will be harder than what some people imagine but i have trust in Pickford and our defensive line to keep it tight.
The other thing in our favour is that late in the game the Ukrainians will tire which is where i think we might be able to pounce with the likes of Grealish coming on from the bench.

hard fault 2-1 victory in extra time.
What am i talking about??! We pissed all over them!! EN-GAR-LAND EN-GAR-LAND EN-GAR-LANd!!

England certainly won’t be the neutral’s favourite...
That will have won a few of them over

Knew everything would be okay just before the second half.

Chris Powell, walked out with a beaming smile on his face - Absolutely no concerns from that moment

I'm not going to make allusions to any songs that might relate to whether or not it's in fact going to return to England. But that was an excellent professional performance. This is a very good England team that will go up against a Denmark side that look strong and press well. England haven't really come up against that level of pressing, so it'll be interesting to see.

But that was bloody fun, wasn't it?

That’s a genuinely brilliant performance from England in a high pressure situation. Not just the overwhelming scoreline but the professionalism to know when to attack and when to hold back.

The three other remaining teams will be watching that in their training camps and make no mistake will be very concerned when they lay their heads down tonight, particularly as they have to travel to London to play out the tournament.

It very well could be coming home!!!!*

*and, when it does, remember there was one wee team you couldnae beat!!!

Denmark will be a real test now, hopefully we're better than the last time we faced them at Wembley

Harry Maguire certainly loves a quarter final goal.
