Tonbridge Angels in the first round for first time in 48 years. They played us last time they got to this stage in 1972 (5-0 to Charlton).

Potentially 10 sides who are low enough in the non-league pyramid to allow supporters in, including Cray Valley. Due to the nonsensical rules stating that away fans aren't allowed in if they support a side above step 7, you could end up with the following scenario:

Cray Valley drawn at home to Sunderland/Portsmouth/Southend/Bolton, etc - we can attend, on the basis that we'll be cheering on our local non-league side.

Cray Valley drawn at home to Charlton - we can't attend, as we support a step 3 side.

Obviously completely unenforceable, not that any club has even attempted to enforce it in the qualifying rounds, apart from a token gesture "no away fans" notice on their twitter account.

  • Maldon and Tiptree for me.
I bet they'd get a jammy goal against us

Two years in a row for Maldon & Tiptree isn’t it?

Tonight's televised FA cup game is being played at the ProKit Stadium (below), Bishops Stortford. It is where the team I managed won our cup final last year. The big difference is we will have had more fans watching inside the ground!

Correction: Watching the game build up now, they have 600 plus fans in the ground!

    Draw coming up
  • No crowds at any games in the FA Cup 1st round. Even if in the 7th division still not allowed any crowd.

No reason not to win and get into the 3rd round draw.

Yes and we could even get in the 2nd round draw as well.
