Looks like there is still a loan outstanding to Roland though which isn't good news.2

Are we there yet!?0

Is there going to be a light show outside Duchatelet's house and a commemorative 50p issued to mark the end of this thread?7

Are the aussies still in contention?0

So ESI now own the Leaseholds of The Valley & Training ground as we had assumed.
Staprix have an outstanding loan to ESI which is secured by a debenture.
If my lifetime of banking serves me well, that debenture is a second charge, which ranks behind the first charge, director's debenture(s).
Mind you it says it's a first charge, with the ex-directors noted as Permitted Encumbrances.0 -
Ding Ding the witch is dead

So long F*** face!

You poor little Angel, but there's a Ray of hope. This thread will soon be no more so you won't need to Carp about people using this Plaice for the wrong reason. Once Roland's totally gone there'll be no need to be Koi, we can all do a Conger in celebration.Curb_It said:I remember raging a good while back as was on holiday and so I hadnt read the thread for a good few days. I sat down one morning and thought I had better catch up on the 700 new posts as something must actually be occurring.... it was 700 f**king fish puns.1 -
Goodbye old friend, its time to hang up your 'boots', put yourself out to 'grass' and just know that your 'goal' has been achieved!! Farewell, adios, so long, au revoir, goodbye.0

Yeah I think that the 32 page document setting up a charge on Sparrows Lane in particular prevents Duchatelet from selling or otherwise damaging the freehold asset until it is transferred to ESI. Only skimmed it on my phone mind.Covered End said:So ESI now own the Leaseholds of The Valley & Training ground as we had assumed.

That's what Roland did when he bought Charlton 6 years ago.Alwaysneil said:

Never thought I would see the day that Roland would resign.. and then Murray. Good day to close this friends. Jimmy Seed summed it all up. Had many laughs, reading this thread, enjoyed the fished puns, house analagies etc. I think the last words should be typed up by Sir Henry Irving to mark the end of this thread. Goodbye to all who sailed in her.1

RIP the thread. Hopefully there won't be a separate RIP thread.

if the thread is closed today (27/1/2020) then think the “Roland Out!” that takes you home needs to change to “Roland mainly gone...” based on the companies house info emerging today...1
-

Interested to hear how this new charge can be consistent with the above from the existing ones - and for avoidance of doubt there is no such prior written consent.1 -
Thank god it's all over.....or is it?!

Obviously I understand everything but for the benefit of those not as intelligent as me, could someone kindly explain what exactly has happened / been confirmed today?

The takeover is only partly done and this thread must not die.AFKABartram said:Obviously I understand everything but for the benefit of those not as intelligent as me, could someone kindly explain what exactly has happened / been confirmed today?15 -
I have to explain to @Redmidland so if someone could translate into "stupid" I'd appreciate it too.AFKABartram said:Obviously I understand everything but for the benefit of those not as intelligent as me, could someone kindly explain what exactly has happened / been confirmed today?
