    Reza or Amdy Faye?
I'd erased Faye from my memory. Did you have to bring it back?
Faye and Traore.  Two of the worst ever signings at Charlton.
    Joint second after Hasslewank.
You obviously missed the infamous Mike Small performance.
    No, I was there.

Hasslewank was a great player who played consistently crap for us.

He gave zero effort and didn't care. I really can't stand him.
  • Didn't Mike Small play more than once anyway?

Yeah, pretty sure we suffered him twice.

Yup but it was one particular performance that stands out for me, and he acknowledges it tbf.

What did happen to Steve Guttenberg?
For a couple of years he was on top of the world that guy??

probably but i just remember turning up for that year's defeat at mmmm and thinking where's this bloke come from? all the players you were hanging your hat on for a miracle weren't there and a (fatter, slower and less gifted) leaburn impersonation act was

I have wondered about that too. He and Tom Hanks seemed to be at a similar popularity level for a brief period in the early days of their careers.

  • I’m 10 pints plus in
a mate I went lunch with today, who was smashed as well , said he heard some shit (let’s hope so) that the club had been bought for £1 and £60m was what The Helmet had going forward for what could be made out of The Valley with property etc
club was gonna be moved to wherever(peninsula was mentioned)  looking to make it viable going forward .

i reckon/ hope it’s all bullshit but thought I’d share this crap going forward

That feeling when that goal went in. I was stunned. 30 seconds later the crowd began singing and we all know what happened next!

When the winner went in it was up there with the pen save and my daughter being born! ;)

Why, out of interest what reason makes you think it should be today.

Because the EFL must have had long enough. There cant be a 100% reliable test and there must be a system of checks that can be completed within a reasonable timescale.
