Think most feel the same hence lack of interest in the recent 'update'. Gave up on them and JS stories a long time ago.killerandflash said:
To be honest I've had little confidence in the whole Aussie Consortium idea anywayJamesSeed said:Aussie (+ US backing) attempt to buy the club is over.
Can't say which source supplied the info, but apparently RD was impossible to deal with, and they've had enough.2 -

Any chance, now that its all over, they can publicly give an update/their side of the story in terms of price changes etc.JamesSeed said:Aussie (+ US backing) attempt to buy the club is over.

We've gone from an owner actively making bad decisions, to an owner who's doing as little as possible.ElliotCAFC said:

Not sustainable in the long term, but more down to luck than judgement a situation which has delivered some success over the last year.1 -
We can't see why he wouldn't, he can't see why he would. He can't see, cos he's not looking, he's never been looking where CAFC's going. It's all just in his head. We can be fairly sure now that anything that involves cash outflows over and above roly's random number generator will be rejected, regardless of the case that can be made. the cadaverous cretin just blunders on.Showmetheway2gohome said:Really can’t see why he hasn’t given bowyer a long term contract.he can’t lose will get compensation when other clubs come in for him.
That's what these bidders eventually work out for themselves, they're only extras in roly's toxic pantomime, they've never seen the script, they bump into the scenery and fall off the stage at some point, with nothing more than a pain in the arras for their trouble.
That's probably tortured that theatrical allegory enough for one day.0 -
Exactly, the good stuff we have in place right now is built on foundations of sand.killerandflash said:

What it all boils down to in essence is....the club is a banana skin just waiting for something to happen, it will all slip away if/when Bowyer has had enough, thats it in a nut shell.3

This would be really interesting to read just to see what they really were up against.cantersaddick said:

Dalman and other groups have mentioned in passing that RD is hard to negotiate with but the Aussies have had over 2 years of " talks"2 -

Typically have a lifetime of 2/3 years though so I wonder if this is something they would consider doing if it has already expired?JamesSeed said:

His information is somehow less accurate than Mr Seeds.

Well James, knowing Roland and his dealings he is more likely to wake up, change his mind and accept the offer tomorrowJamesSeed said:Aussie (+ US backing) attempt to buy the club is over.

What's the penalty for breaking the NDA. I assumed it would be something like calling off negotiations etc. Which surely wouldn't matter if they've already backed out. Not a hell of a lot RD can do if they do break it.JamesSeed said:

As much as I want to hear any new development regarding Shitweasel selling the club by now I would take anything GM says with a pinch of salt.
If the Aussies were serious about buying a club they would have told Roland to fuck off about a year ago and gone out and bought one.17 -

does this mean the Aussie solo bid is off too? likewise the yanks?
Sorry if I haven't kept up, but this was a bid where the Yanks just joined the Aussie consortium, and thus the Aussie bid which is over?0
