According to my non Aussie source, the Yanks and the Aussies had a joint bid rejected a few days ago.
Just confirms what we've known for some time now that the club isn't actually for sale.
No it doesn't.
Because turning down offers says otherwise?
It might be for sale but with a Premier League price tag is it really?
Yes. It's called a set price, open to offers.
If the offers aren't deemed high enough it is accepted that the owner may not move their price.
Our situation is a bit different though as our value has increased since we were put on sale, therefore the current owner has likely increased our price accordingly.
Very smart move here. Knowing the Directors Box gets heavy scrutiny they ask for eight seats behind the dugout where they can pass as regular Joes. In addition to the job-lot on scarves, they have even gone as far as to have their security man wear a people's Donkey Jacket and have sat him apart in the row in front. They clearly weren't banking on Airman Brown's telescopic lens and native cunning.

The price has always been unrealistic. That they are still taking bids suggests that the club IS for sale.
Whether it will actually be sold soon is a whole other question but past history points to December being a likely time of year to sell.
Fair point HI, my interpretation of the club being for sale is when the price is a realistic one rather than a price purposesly set too high unless a mug punter is willing to pay it.
Agreed December is the most likely month based on history.

Agree it's about RD being realistic but think the price is too high because it's based on him recouping his losses, not on the value of the club.

The burning question again tho is December of which year in which century...round & round & round it goes...!!!
@PopIcon Which bit of my post did you find "funny"?
The bit about Bowyer becoming our best manager ever. Brilliant stuff, keep it coming.
I said that's possible. Do you disagree?
It's possible that we are secretly brothers, torn from our mothers teet at birth, its possible that I might wake up in the morning to find out I've grown a pair of tits and my penis has grown inwards, it's also possible that Ben Reeves will get an England call up for next years Euro's.
I've never heard anything so ridiculous.
Especially considering he has caps for another FIFA nation.
It just goes to show how cynical we have become......very little response to JS’s post. A while back an announcement like this would have sent the thread into meltdown.

Still for sale, just at a revalued price.

Fingers crossed we get good news in December.
Not fair that she should keep you waiting so long!!
Apparently initial offer was rejected but second one has been submitted. ‘Very attractive. Especially for fans.’
Must be worth another five pages.
"Very attractive. Especially for fans"
Yay, thanks I accept
