Sort it by 5.00pm on Monday 29th (today) or EFL will suspend their opening fixtures
Seems like they are caught between a rock and a hard place1 -

Its about getting Saturdays game cancelled for each of them
Either stick to the original deadlines and cancel the game or dont - Dont piss about as there will be fans who'll be wanting to make travel plans
i.e. What about the MK Dons fans who are waiting to see if they need to book train travel up there or not as those ticket prices arent going to stand still are they?0 -
40 minutes till deadline.
Hope both clubs make it1 -

6 points penalty.0 -
Both clubs already on minus 12.
Any poor teams in League 1 could get really lucky this season, lack of players and points deductions for Bolton and Bury mean chances are only 2 other teams will go down1 -

BOLTON WANDERERS
At its meeting today, the EFL Board was appraised of the position in regard to the outstanding information requested in respect of ongoing matters at Bolton Wanderers.
The Board has fully considered the Club’s further submissions and is satisfied that they are sufficient to meet the requirements of the League subject to the completion of formal documentation.
As a result the EFL Board has opted not to suspend their opening day fixture with Wycombe Wanderers and it will remain as originally scheduled on Saturday 3 August 2019 at 3pm.
BURY
Following continued and comprehensive discussions with the ownership at Bury and other interested parties throughout Monday, the EFL Board is not satisfied it has received the necessary evidence in regard to the outstanding information it requires that demonstrates how the Club will be funded moving forwards.
As a result of not meeting Monday’s 5pm deadline, which had been extended on two previous occasions, the EFL Board feels it has been placed in an unenviable position and, regrettably, has opted to take the reluctant decision to suspend Saturday’s opening day fixture with MK Dons under the provision of EFL Regulation 28.2.
In addition, the EFL Board, if not in possession of the necessary evidence by 12pm on Friday 2 August 2019, will make a determination as to whether to suspend Bury’s away fixture at Accrington Stanley on Saturday 10 August 2019.
As has been the case throughout this entire process, the EFL will continue to offer its full assistance to the ownership at Bury, but remains clear that while the League is here to support the Club through some extremely complex and complicated issues, the outstanding matters can only be resolved with the cooperation from the Club itself.

So will the EFL ensure that MK Dons fans get refunds for their wasted travel costs?0

This isn't looking good for Bury, has this ever happened before?2

Seems the PFA have recused Bolton by giving them a £2m loan which'll allow the takeover to complete and so allow Bolton to play against Wycombe on the weekend - Makes me wonder though why the same wasnt done for Bury???1

Maidstone Utd went bankrupt and had to reform close enough to an away league fixture for a match programme to be made0

Seems that Bury will also face disciplinary action for not completing the fixture this Saturday
Hang on, wasnt them that asked for it to be suspended in the first place!!0 -
Not quite sure i understand the Bury situation. They obviously have players and can play the fixture, as they've been playing pre-season friendlies. They won at Port Vale at the weekend.
But the EFL call the game off.
Meanwhile owner Steve Dale has still not satisfied the League, according to its rules, that he has the money to run the club, which he bought for £1 in December.
So from that we can safely assume that the EFL didn't do any proper checks.
Now the EFL announce that Bury will face a disciplinary committee for failing to fulfil a fixture.
Another job well done by the EFL.4 -

Another job well done by the EFL.Didnt the EFL admit that they let it pass in December as they didnt want Bury to fold and agreed for the new owner to send in the "fit & proper" papers later......which he still hasnt satisfied.0 -
