40 months for GBH? When I worked in Holloway there were women with convictions for GBH getting 5 or 6 years.
i am really hoping he wouldn’t be doing that kind of stuff without being on drugs or something. Not trying to excuse him but cannot imagine why someone would do that. I actually don’t want to imagine it2 - Sponsored links:

Wow! I honestly hadn’t looked at this thread since I made my comment back in 2017. Had no idea I had sparked such a response from one particular poster or seen the other spats that were subsequently. Disappointed to see some of the comments, although I appreciate that the person who was upset with what I said then somewhat apologised for their response.Stand by what I said though. Totally accept that Evans’ conviction was overturned and that he wasn’t guilty, but the detail that came out at the trial was not objected to by him and it was that behaviour that i referred to and that I found reprehensible.1
