He smiled at me when I was abusing him this season.
I think he's alright.3 -
Sheffield United just couldn't say no. They signed his mate first though.SuedeAdidas said:About to resign for Sheffield Utd.........

Leaving aside the other issues, is he good enough for the Championship now? It's been a long time since he played at that level1
-
really, I can't see him doing a particularly good job in the Championship, and yes I am basing that purely on his footballing ability. I think he is a League 1 striker at best.Northstandpieeater said:550 k shrewd signing for Sheffield United what ever peoples thoughts on the case were. He will score goals for them

odd signing, has done nothing in League One to suggest he will be good enough for the Championship and despite being found not guilty, still comes with baggage.

One(?) very good season in 2011/12 until it got "interrupted", though that was 5 years agoAthletico Charlton said:odd signing, has done nothing in League One to suggest he will be good enough for the Championship and despite being found not guilty, still comes with baggage.

It may just be the festering sewer that is my mind, in fact, it's bound to be, but this could have been put in a way that lessens unfortunate interpretations.smudge7946 said:He smiled at me when I was abusing him this season.

Just saying.16 -
7 goals this year.
Can't see him being worth the hassle in the Championship.3 -
He scored 4 of them in Chesterfield's first 3 games.North Lower Neil said:7 goals this year.

Not to mention Chesterfield lost one of their best players: Jay O'Shea to Sheffield United in January... You'd hope that someone like Evans would find it easier in a team that creates chances like Sheff Utd instead of Chesterfield.
Just look at Nicky Ajose with us and Swindon this season to show the amount of goals you score for one team, doesnt instantly mean you'll be better or worse playing for another side.0 -
Really hope that this one backfires on Sheff U.
Regardless of the verdict, I've no time for a man (and I use that term loosely) like Evans. Abused a position of "celebrity" status and showed himself up for a lowlife. With his limited intelligence, I can't see this changing any time.
Hopefully, karma will come good on both parties.14 -
Hasn't exactly set the league alight has he, although he's at a poor side, so i'm surprised they want him.0

Doubt it.Arsenetatters said:

7 goals in 29 matches... for a shite team.
Yeah, think with a bit of work he could be decent again.1 -
Ched has signed for Sheff Utd on a three year deal1

Telmc32 I totally despise your comments and take it you have no real background on the matter personally. What gives you the right to comment like you just did when what do you really know, probably not alot and if I'm wrong prove it and ill say sorry, if not then shut the fuck up untill you have real background to back up comment's like you just made

Your best course of action is to reasonably argue the case hingicafc1986, if you can do that you might sway some opinions. I'm not sure I've ever seen "shut the fuck up" have the desired effect on a web forum.3

I think he does have a point, but perhaps should have been put another way.JiMMy 85 said:Your best course of action is to reasonably argue the case hingicafc1986, if you can do that you might sway some opinions. I'm not sure I've ever seen "shut the fuck up" have the desired effect on a web forum.

yeah I agree maybe I shud of put it another way considering this is a internet forum but I'm sorry this touched a nerve massively in a personal experience way and I don't feel people should talk like that when they have no real idea, and if you want proof of this message me personally.0 -
Whatever you have personal experience of, I'm pretty sure it isn't sneaking into a hotel room to have sex with a drunk woman who's already had sex with your friend, then leaving by the fire escape, then having an initial guilty sentence reversed on the strength of testimony from someone who had sex with the same woman on a different occasion, based on what she said during the act.12

No maybe it isn't exactly the same but trust me its pretty similar, do not believe everything you hear or read, leuth, was you actually there to confirm what you just said actually happened, or are you just going purely on everything you read and hear? Just a question, please answer it honestly

He never denied it happened, he might not be a rapist, but he's still a wrong'un.hingicafc1986 said:No maybe it isn't exactly the same but trust me its pretty similar, do not believe everything you hear or read, leuth, was you actually there to confirm what you just said actually happened, or are you just going purely on everything you read and hear? Leuth's summary is accurate according to the judge's summary. Is there a particular bit you contest?2

In the eyes of the law he is not guilty of rape, his morals were not on trial.
If anyone has evidence to the contrary, contact the police.0 -

Your quite right, Joe public can conclude anything, based on news reports and opinion, not evidence.newyorkaddick said:

And that's ok - every day we form perfectly reasonable conclusions with incomplete information.DA9 said:
