  • Bizarre if Real go back to Mourinho when you consider how negative his reign at United was.
If i was Perez i'd be going after Pochettino or Klopp.

Don't see anyone else out there who would suit them, unless Zidane wants to go back.

"He has left open the possibility of coming back in June."

To be honest no point hiring a manager now anyway, they might as well wait until the summer.

A bigger issue for them is overhauling their squad. They haven't replaced Ronaldo (not that it'd be easy anyway), Bale is unhappy, Isco is even unhappier, Marcelo is out of favour and i think will leave in the summer, Modric is nearly 34, Benzema is the wrong side of 30 too.
  • It would be an absolute travesty if Solskjaer doesn't get the job now. Last night was incredible
  • I'd be shocked if Solskjaer doesnt already have it yet the club are probably keeping quiet to let the team get on with things - i.e. they apparently released their Season Ticket information with Solskjaer on the front of it

Why do that if he's not going to be around in the summer; surely you'd have Rashford or Pogba on there?

despite the penalty controversy that was a brilliant performance from a well under strength Man U with just 28% possession  .. proves that  Solskjaer is the real deal as a manager and that the Utd squad is incredibly strong and full of self belief .. a first team debut in the Champ Lg for Greenwood and 17 year old Chong coming on .. it also shows that PSG despite the spending and the hype are a bunch of overrated bottlers

Love how he still refers to Sir Alex as 'the boss', just shows the absolute respect everyone has for him.

stupid tug of the shirt there, idiot
Crazy, the striker was never going to get to it anyway.
Seems like that error could have cost the manager his job, had they gone through I doubt he would have been sacked today

That VAR in the city game took far too long.

Atleti are famously strong defensively but my god they look so vulnerable when Juve get wide.
every time they cross the ball you feel it’s going in.

    Fullbacks are the difference tonight.
Arias at right back for Atleti and Juanfran switched to left back in Luis absence both pinned back.
Meanwhile Cancelo and Spinazzola fantastic for Juventus

Never any doubt he would score. Atletico have been absolutely awful tonight though. Lucky to get nil!

City making light work of the other nights game.....just the 7 goals so far.

Draw takes place on Friday, potential to have 4 English teams in the last 8

got a feeling for a Manchester Derby in the quarters.
    Ajax vs Porto too.
  • In 2019 so far, Man City have now scored 61 goals and conceded just 8.

10th time this season they've scored 5 or more in a game.
  • Juve and City favourites now?

Mcmanaman after 6 minutes says that Ribery is much more dangerous than Gnabry on the other side and he’s shown it this season.

i don’t expect him to be watching loads of German football every week but that’s blatantly just not knowing much about this Bayern team and so just talking up the ‘names’

Gnabry has 9 goals and 6 assists in 30 games.
    Ribery has 5 and 4 in 28.

Gnabry is having a decent year for Munich, Ribery meanwhile is a great player on the decline.
