Well, we did it .... we all feared the worst in the first minute. But needn't have worried.

Good result, usually mess up against the lower teams , keeps us right in the hunt and Millwall loose , Happy Days !!4

We’re king of the 2-0 these days.0

Bit premature, I don’t think the game has finished yet.19

It's a great promotion winning score if you keep doing it consistantly.EveshamAddick said:We’re king of the 2-0 these days.

8 points off top. 4 points off 2nd.
A great week and superb turnaround since the defeat at Blackpool.14 -
Five wins in six will do nicely. The top eight are pulling away from the rest at this point in the season and we're only four points behind 2nd...11

Prat Of The Season is decided...and it's not Sarr. Or even Kettle3

Weird weird game. 10 vs 10 with one team seemingly determined not to do any attacking, even at 1-0 down. Really impressed with way the players stayed ultra patient and handled the chaos.13

Derby joy!!!12

I'm really pleased to see Marshall score today.
For one reason or another, it never worked out for him at the beginning of the season - but he never complained, put in the work behind the scenes and just got on with it.
Proper pro.

That was easy. Wimbledon were just awful. A good 3 points. In Bowyer we trust. COYR!!1

Couple of big games next weekend.Callumcafc said:Five wins in six will do nicely. The top eight are pulling away from the rest at this point in the season and we're only four points behind 2nd...
Pompey v Sunderland
Blackpool v Barnsley
Us, Luton, Peterborough and Doncaster all have 'easier' home games.3 -
Top four leagues had no red cards today except you guessed it our game!!1

So when was the last time we had two players in double figures in the league (Grant 11, Taylor 10) by mid-Dec?2
-
Or until West Ham and Fulham meet that is always fireworks.0

Wimbledon were the worst side I've seen in years.17

You can all thank me now.
I posted this as the final post on the preview thread before it was closed:
Suffering with an arthritis flare up so won't make the game.
Last time it happened and I missed the game was when we played Barnsley and won 2-0 so hopefully I'll end up taking another one for the team today and miss a victory.14 -
You are a self-obsessed clown... Someone ban this bellend. Incessant, needless digs. I don't know why I am biting because that is all he is looking for.Leuth said:Prat Of The Season is decided...and it's not Sarr. Or even Kettle
Onto the match... We never got out of first gear, nor did we need to. Thought the subs were a tad defensive as we were still in total control. Bielek was a class above, spraying it about like Pirlo. Ajose is no grant.10 - Sponsored links:

Even when Sarr went off in the first minute I didn’t think it would stop us. We are challenging for the top for a reason. They are getting relegated for a reason. The only doubt I had is whether the game would get abandoned given the amount of water coming down from the sky. That pitch is fantastic.4

The one season where Roland's ridiculous "blag your way to January and then I'll invest" might have worked, but presumably he won't be putting any money in now he's completely lost interest so we'll have to make do with praying we don't sell anyone.
Any chance our lofty position might prompt one of our catalogue of mystery bidders to complete a deal? We can only hope.
Didn't initially see Bowyer as anything other than a stop gap, but he's doing a brilliant job.8 -
Very good game management today. Nobody panicked, kept possession well, sensible and timely substitutions, patient, carved out chances and took them. Not a vintage performance but way more than enough to beat a Wimbledon side devoid of ambition, courage or talent.7

Can't be very often that a side has had a player sent off in the first minute...........and still won the game.0

Back in the Killer and Flash days probably.MountsfieldPark said:So when was the last time we had two players in double figures in the league (Grant 11, Taylor 10) by mid-Dec?
We've had the odd season with one decent goalscoring striker but I'm struggling to think of many with two of them.2 -
Also, look more balanced with Reeves in the team, I think he does a lot that goea unnoticed2

I was talking about Pinnock ffs!CAFCsayer said:

Wimbledon were awful. Grant and Taylor together would have had a field day against their defence today0
-
Interestingly, this week we've made up 5 points on leaders Portsmouth.
Last Saturday, we were 13 points behind Pompey, now we are 8 points.
They can be caught.
