Can’t believe he lives in a flat. With all the money he’s stolen from our club, you think he would have upgraded to a semi!RedChaser said:Thought I read somewhere @PragueAddick that ROT had posted something through the door of his (RDs) flat. Have you not heard the story about the dishwasher (which he himself told to a Belgian magazine)? He does not own one, on the basis that washing the after dinner dishes together gives him "quality time" with his wife. The magazine did not ask his wife about the quality time she spends washing the breakfast and lunch dishes while he is out running football clubs into the ground.stop shouting said:

We can all read this thread thanksDOUCHER said:The situation is ongoing. Price is agreed, the deal has stalled as there is a hole in the funds the aussies need to fund the club going forwards. The deal hasn't collapsed but won't complete until this hole has been filled by new investors.

He gave that interview a few years ago in a house owned by Saint Truiden football club and passed it off as his own.PragueAddick said:

To be fair, I think it is more of a penthouse rather than a council flat. He does wear “gorblimey trousers “ though.

I firmly believe that both would've started on the bench had Magennis not been sold and JFC not been injured. Pratley hasn't had much of a pre-season and Taylor was literally running on empty the last 25 minutes.golfaddick said:
we may well be if our manager decides to play the next 45 games with just the 11 players he picks to start & only changes it when there is an injury, even though he clearly stated just days before that both Pratley & Taylor would probably not feature as they were not fit.blackpool72 said:

RD wants to save face i.e. avoid the possibility of new owners immediately getting the club promoted (something he wasn't able to do). So delays the sale until it is very hard for the new owners to muster a campaign that gets us promoted. That way he can say in his warped little world - " See they couldn't find success either"

Whilst we struggle to find someone to buy our entire club for 35-40m, i see Palace are reportedly about to get 75m for Zaha as Chelsea look to make a move this week.1

£75M today but certain relegation from the Premier League in May costing hundreds of million in lost revenue sounds like RD style logic!Chris_from_Sidcup said:Whilst we struggle to find someone to buy our entire club for 35-40m, i see Palace are reportedly about to get 75m for Zaha as Chelsea look to make a move this week.

Just wanted to say that I am not a person to ask about ROT campaign tactics, as I am just a supporter.RedChaser said:Thought I read somewhere @PragueAddick that ROT had posted something through the door of his (RDs) flat. Assuming if wasn't a turd, was it ROT canvassing material? any ideas?
But I am distressed to read in the relevant thread that only 39 people have so far joined ROT. These brilliant enterprising Charlton fans are working on a campaign that is in our best traditions, and spending huge amounts of their personal money taking that campaign to a foreign country, and only 39 of us can be arsed to support them?
Come on people, lets stop rowing with each other and get behind people who are actually doing something positive.

Isn’t he supposed to be here Tue to Thurs to be “ running the club” as defacto COO. He’ll presumably have to talk to somebody in 3 days at the office but what’s to say they’ll be anybody of significance in takeover negotiations? If he’s talking business with outsiders, my money’s on the next employers of JA & BFG.JamesSeed said:
Yup. Tuesday to Thursday for talks.cafcwill said:nothing will be announced/rumoured today as the Belgian bloke (LTT or something) isn't in the country till tomorrow.

If it was in desperate need of redecorating, the plumbing and electricity needed to be sorted out and the roof was leaking, why would you leave it until the start of the holiday season, when it would be worse, instead of starting remedial work as soon as possible?Cafc43v3r said:Why would you buy it as soon as the transfer window shuts, might as well tell him to stick it and come back in november/December and save yourself £3/4m in running cost?
Would you buy a holiday property in September if you knew you could by it for the same price just before next summers peak season?0 -
@PragueAddick I have not joined or contributed because I dont recall (maybe my fault) reading about their aims, objectives, strategies etc. I think I am trying to say that their communications campaign has been lacking. With more information, I would be able to make a more informed decision.PragueAddick said:

Why would any manager at this level walk away from any job.....other than for reasons of health or similar.
LB may love the club.....but at the end of the day it's a job. If he was offered the Millwall job on a fair whack of wedge - he'd take it I'm sure.1 -
Some people. Particularly those that can afford to do so have morals and principles that they won’t have messed with. I’m guessing LB is not the man to take being undermined very well.SuedeAdidas said:Why would any manager at this level walk away from any job.....other than for reasons of health or similar.

I think Bowyer’s red line is Aribo, selling him and he’ll walk (what then?).3
