Who would have thought there was more chance of England winning the World Cup before Charlton's takeover happens?

    .
  • This morning.... "The Cup is coming home!!!"

This afternoon.... "England is coming home."

Tonight.... "The buyers are going home."

More fake news from the land of the three ? I thought England couldn’t come home just yet on account of they’ve got to play another game

Had quite a vivid dream that it was all being signed off and completed, so presumably it will happen today.
It was happening at a garage though, so I might not have got every detail right.

Hmmm do you mean a room to store your car and lawnmower in or a petrol station?

    9 weeks now.

Did they just blag a free ticket?
  • so if you believe the fans forum minutes the issue is with EFL waiting on documents from the Ozzies.

  • I think there'll be an outcome to this saga pretty soon. Sounds as if there's a cash flow issue if the bank are withholding credit card monies for season tickets and they're negotiating with suppliers ... #TeamWIOTOS
  • Yes, that was a bit concerning
  • So this Australia consortium are incapable of getting the paper work together to satisfy the EFL, that gives me great confidence. A bank expresses confidence in what is going on by holding back on season ticket money paid by credit card, what does that say about the Aussies.

  • Would be interesting to hear from those with contacts to the old directors to hear if it is their understanding that the bonds are no longer an issue and if so why? @Davidsmith @nth london addick
  • So Aussie paperwork not even with the EFL yet and then we have the wait to come as well. There is zero chance of promotion.

Nothing I would have said as the bank is holding back the money from the current owner, not them.

Also I don't take anything the regime says at face value.

I understand your point @msomerton but it could be that RD has declared he is putting no more money into the club, so the Bank is holding onto ST money, until the sale goes through to offset any further overdraft the club may require, and will release it to the new owners on completion.

Probably mate and very frustrating but let's get rid of the old scrote first and hope that we can manage mid table by the January transfer window and go unbeaten to the end of the season.

Sometimes you have to keep taking backward steps before you go forward this is just another. Keep the faith  .

I think you should re-read the statement, and then look at airmans comments.
