I do the same quite often. We beat our own players up and sometimes it's nice to hear the opposite.
After a 2-1 win for example, it's nicer to read about how our strikers were dangerous and our wingers dominated their full backs, in comparison to how our goalkeeper is shit to let a goal in.
Even after defeats you can read about how certain teams felt lucky. On other occasions, like today, it's beautiful to hear ego and arrogance come crushing down!3 -
I tend to look at other teams forums when we're due to play them. It's interesting for their take on us and their expectations in the upcoming game and then the reactions after the game is played.2

I spend far too much time on this forum to spend any time on anyone else's!!9

That's rubbish forum. No trolling, no abuse, no spiteful personal attacks. Tsk - very poor 3 out of 10....7

Gotta say, I'm 100% in agreement there AA coz there'll be no need for the Argument AlerterAlgarveaddick said:That's rubbish forum. No trolling, no abuse, no spiteful personal attacks. Tsk - very poor 3 out of 10....

looks like they've got a scapegoat as well..."Will we blame Keogh".0
-
Dont worry lets wait until after the game... Then I'm sure that they'll be bemoaning the fact that lil Charlton beat them somehow0

Will stick oppositions match threads etc on here for those like me who read them.
Sorry for the earlier BCFC post.

Some interesting posts on that. That's a decent forum as well, nothing compared to this but better then a lot of clubs I've been on. They seem very doom and gloom on there, don't know how good they've got it!up_the_valley said:Will stick oppositions match threads etc on here for those sados like me who read them.

Seeing us described as a team that looks nailed on for relegation was sobering to say the least.0 -

Have never looked at Man Utd, Arsenal etc (which i guess would be far more populated) forums but this appears to me by far the most busy and efficient.1

Have a couple of mates who support Everton so sometimes have a look on here.

I used to post on the Everton Net.rivals forum. Some good banter, I thought it was called When Skies are Blue?Chris_from_Sidcup said:Have a couple of mates who support Everton so sometimes have a look on here.

Better finishing and a bit more luck would have seen us run out 3-1 winners today. Yes, we got muscled out by a very physical Charlton team, but Alfie was unlucky with that great curling ahotvthatvhot the bar, keeper beaten and we missed two absolute sitters. Yes improvement needed but I’m keeping the faith.
Nobody else seemed to disagree with this person, and most seemed to think we easily deserved the win. Puzzled why he thought we're a very physical team though, when we lack height, and have a number of quite technical players0 -
I think after getting bullied for long time we were tougher on Saturday. Ask the Ref.0

I honestly cant remember them having even 1 "absolute sitter"?killerandflash said:we missed two absolute sitters.
Amos made a good close range save in the 2nd half, that was the only trouble he had all game.

I can never understand why some football team forums have like 4 posts before a game, whereas on here we get hundreds.2

Well Oxford have 1 so far, though the thread was only started 10 minutes ago. He seems pretty confident though.

I pop onto the Alcorcon forum sometimes hoping to see a thread on Brexit on there, like we have on the Catalan independence crisis, but I am always disappointed. Pleasingly they do have various topics about how crap Roland has been for them though.3

I regularly go on the York forum. Not one mention of trains, very disappointing.

Yes but out of those hundreds when you take out how big is your knob, when do you put your bins out, would ya, RIP every fecking person that passes, TCE's dogs, Curb_its spin classes, cabbles begging for friends and the Dave Mehmet dogging society what are you left with..............four posts about footballcafcnick1992 said:I can never understand why some football team forums have like 4 posts before a game, whereas on here we get hundreds.

Used to visit owlstalk fairly often when we were in the same league. They seem to have a larger than average number of morons on there and the meltdowns when they lost were rather amusing.1

General consensus we were average and ref was the deciding factor. Pretty desperate if you believe you lose brcause of a throw in award. Refs guess most of them anyway.0

For a team in third place they don't seem particularly happy.0

Hope they didn't watch the Barca game tonight.0
