Should've been two or three up after 30 mins. Not too disappointed as long as it doesnt continue. Let's hope it's an early blip.

Hope they took plenty of snaps from the flight as I think they'll be bussing it from now on.

First half we played really well, unlucky not to be ahead.

Second half, we looked a bit toothless, knocking it about well but with no penetration. Very weak looking bench too

Bit worried about our lack of height, opposition will target our full backs aerially

Played some nice stuff for the first 40 mins but argyle started to look dangerous toward the end. That continued into the second half.

Was impressed with f.caskey. very unimpressed with big Mag.

To be fair to big Mag - unlikely he was fully fit! Probably only 70% but only player who can play KRs preferred system.

Mag looked short of fitness, Kashi had a much poorer game than last week as well

Could be a blessing in disguise this result.
Didn't think we played terribly at all but it confirms that we 100% need a first choice striker with Josh acting as the number 2.

Should've been about 3/4 up by halftime which is the biggest worry.

I know needs must but we saw last season bringing back an unfit Josh does nobody any favours. At best have him on the bench. This week we have to bring in a goal scorer.

Our season will succeed or fail on whether we get the 2 good strikers required.

If we do, we should be in the promotion hunt and if we don't we'll probably end up mid table.

On the plus side. We've lost, so KR can press home he needs his extra men.

Who the f*ck and I kidding lol

Early days yet but we should have taken are chances better especially against a team that conceded a lot of goals their previous two games.

On train. Pretty but too deep and lacking cutting edge. That's it really. Dominated possession but can't say we ever looked overly threatening. Not many teams will have more possession than us but we succumbed to obvious league one strengths. We're we unlucky ? No not really. We're Plymouth? A bit I think. Gutted but reality check big time. Fans fantastic as ever.

First half strong, second half pony. Players not coming over at the end showed what they thought of second half

If you have a favoured system, make sure you have the players to play it. A fully fit Magennis may have been ok, but when not fully fit and no other options, you go to plan B. I alluded to this in the preview but knew he wouldn't. I like KR, but he does lack flexibility. He needs to bring in a couple of players that will make his system work. Problem is, we always need 2-3 players. If Magennis was not fully fit - and I think it is likely he wasn't - it is a disgrace playing him on a 2nd League game - how are we going to manage through the season if we have to do that in the second game?

This is the sort of thing that has only been an issue under the current owner!

Perhaps. I don't think it helped him that Holmes final ball was dreadful today.

Holmes looked good apart from that, pity as that could have made the difference had he got that right.

We should had a free kick on the edge of the argyle box immediately before their second. I think that some of the players were shocked we didn't get it. We might have got a point IF the ref had done his job properly

Can't blame the ref for the defeat though. Pity, I was looking forward to this match after reading of the rave reviews of the previous matches this season.
