Fox is having a really good game apparently. Well done him.18

Take your chance with both hands/feet, Morgan.Covered End said:Fox is having a really good game apparently. Well done him.

Probably better off taking it with both handsFanny Fanackapan said:

Never thought I'd hear you say that CE.Covered End said:Fox is having a really good game apparently. Well done him.

I've always wished him all the very best. I just thought he was very poor for Charlton (as did the other 7 who go regularly with me).CyrilDavies said:

I was never really a fan of Fox but playing under so many managers, alongside so many different team mates alongside everything else going on couldn't have helped him. Even without that he probably wouldn't have been consistent,
The likes of Lookman will always break through, they're too good to be left out. One of RDs main idea for the club is to bring even more academy players through. If you're going to do that the players that aren't stand outs at youth level such as Fox need to be managed and coached well to get the most out of them and help them develop.
RD has got it so badly wrong and players such as Fox and KAG have suffered because of it. After Fox moved to Sheff Wed he said
"It’s been tough, especially as a young player almost thrown in after Powelly left. There was very little guidance from some of the management staff around me."

Says a lot about how things were. At least KR should be an improvement in this area.9 - Sponsored links:

Morgan is currently leading the owlstalk poll for man of the match with 70% of the votes. Wasn't his biggest fan but will be very pleased for him if he manages to push on.

He was putting in a lot of decent crosses in the first half. No great surprise, as I thought his crossing was possibly his strongest asset. It was his defending that was lacking IMO.3

But Simon Francis has been an ever present in the Bournemouth team in the PL with Addicks' fans complaining about his defensive play...Covered End said:He was putting in a lot of decent crosses in the first half. Good on him. Proper high percentage of knobs in our fanbase sadly.5

everyone can conveniently ignore the fact of just how bad he sometimes was for us.
good luck to him and hope he does well, but lets not forget some of the shockers he had playing for us.
He's just one of those better suited to another club (ala Simon Francis - clearly a decent PL player, but an absolute disaster while with us)2 -

He had a good debut for us too. One good game doesn't make him roberto Carlos just like one bad game doesn't make him Paul sturgess, he will get caught out against pace but will offer something going forward0

Not sure that anyone's ignoring that he had some absolute shockers for us. It's just pleasing to see a young, hardworking, honest pro who was committed to our cause doing well at a higher level.Elthamaddick said:everyone can conveniently ignore the fact of just how bad he sometimes was for us.

I know it's a game of opinions but I thought his crossing was dreadful. It did improve this season but his ability to hit the defender with a cross was, frankly, unsurpassed imoCovered End said:He was putting in a lot of decent crosses in the first half. I hope it works out for him as he was an honest pro. Not sure he'll be Premiership standard but he certainly should make a decent living from the game3 - Sponsored links:

Good luck to him, with better coaching he will become a better player i'm sure.1

Listening to Jimmy's latest in the network podcast series it strikes me that the club hasn't been a great place for players for some time. Imagine trying to learn your trade amidst all that chaos. I wish him well, clearly a player in there but circumstances at the Valley not exactly conducive to development over the past three years. Glad he's off to a good start at the massives.8

Some fans complain about others complaining every chance they get though don't they @CyrilDavies ; - )0 -
Pleased for Morgan. Never thought he was as bad as some made out and with the right manager and in a consistent side might improve.
Don't see him as a premier league player but hope he proves me, and many others, wrong.3 -
Well they love Fox after his debut and think he's much better than Pudil and Wiggins. Let's hope he can maintain his great start.Scoham said:0 -
