I thought the covered end was the north upper? And i was quoted £350.00 when doing my searching yesterday?

The covered end existed long long before the north upper.
Yeh I see what you mean. So where are the majority of those north upper fans going to be sitting this season - upper north or lower north?

The Bury away end holds approx 1800 all seated, they would be mad if they did not sell on the day.

Hello. We (Blackpool) have adopted a Not A Penny More (NAPM) attitude whereby we will not buy anything through the club. This includes tickets for away games. There were no problems getting tickets on the day at any of the League One games last season (except Fleetwood which you would expect) so I cannot see you guys having any issues. For each game, our supporters trust contacted the home club to clarify arrangements for pay on the day and then made these known on our site. Something CARD could pick up maybe?

I like this idea, think it would simplify things much more than us having to worry about the club itself and its foolhardy restriction attempts

I know there are a lot of Train Ticket threads at the moment in anticipation for the first away games this season.

What will people do with their travel if the club were to enforce this?

    Pay at the turnstiles.

Buy one in the home end and request to be moved into the away end.

You could find yourself ejected for that, strange but true.

I was at Bristol Rovers, loads of room in the away end which I pointed out to the copper but he threw me out and that was that.

When do away tickets for the first few games usually go on sale?

Does this help? Does the away club keep a % or fee if sold through them?

normally 1 month before the game so Bury should go on sale around the 6th July.

Certainly for our first four games you'll be able to pay on the day.

I don't believe there is any discernible limit to their dumbness!

I'm sorry if this has been asked already, I've not the time to be a regular reader anymore. Can we just buy tickets direct from the away club? Maybe one of the protest groups could contact away clubs and explain the situation, they would be only too pleased to sell more tickets.

I think you underestimate Tones ability to be exactly that.

If they did this, I'd purchase amount of tickets possible using my ST, and then sell them at same price to a fan in need.

    And Wimbledon ?

Oxford and Swindon are easy journeys - how big is the away allocation at those grounds ?

Fleetwood might be popular as well. Have they got a big ground ?

    Bloody massive mate.

Whilst I think a lot of people will be up for Fleetwood, the difficulty and price of getting there will put many off.

Oxford approx 1500 but can be increased.
Swindon 1200 but can be increased.

A Charlton season ticket and valley gold could come in handy for the boycotters that are only going to the away games

Kind of defeats the object of a season ticket boycott if you buy a season ticket.

so if a season ticket holder wants to take someone along to an away game that is not a season ticket holder they can not do that ???

We can not all be season ticket holders due to work commitments so that means when we can go - the management can say NO - absolute rubbish

    More propaganda
