    Who's the woman with black hair and white top, sitting in corner opposite KM, next to the younger woman? Whoever she is she is protecting KM in the argument about that video and cutting costs. She says people taking KM comments out of context, lost in translation etc etc, and social media to blame!!

    No, I understand that. That's the very reason why we haven't signed Messi and Ronaldo - we have absolutely no idea if they'll be any good.

    FFS - recruitment isn't an exact science but you at least attempt to establish via a selection process the likelihood of future performance. Although thinking about it, maybe Roland's approach to recruitment is to take someone off the street and see if they'll be any good. That might go some way to explain how we ended up with Meire.

    They won't say what they've received in transfer income and allow people to conclude there is a net spend on transfers of £9m. That's not what Joyes actually says - he's just offset the income against operating losses and left the spending as a standalone item. So still no clarity over what the net spend on players is.

    I've challenged this again with David Joyes this morning, but not got a reply just yet.

    The other part of this is that the £25m headline figure includes repayment of the Lombard loan, but presumably that debt was taken into account in the price RD paid for the club. So its presence here is perhaps double counting for presentational purposes.

    She was probably told years ago by a pseudo-psychologist whilst attending the 'Managing for Dummies' module at law school that there's a very good chance that throughout her career people will laugh at you a lot (correct there then) so defuse the situation by laughing at them - a lot.

    I think it's very clear what he means, but he won't articulate it because he knows the next question would be what the actual net figure on transfers is, which they are not prepared to disclose. He knows it's been misunderstood in their favour so he lets it lie. I agree re the Lombard loan. He's also omitting to mention the fact that part of the "investment" will have been to cover the interest RD is charging himself.
