"whenever we sign a player its like hiring an employee, we don't know what they're going to be like" errr, okay katrien, clearly the scouting department are there for no reason, which is why phil chapple left...
Who's the woman with black hair and white top, sitting in corner opposite KM, next to the younger woman? Whoever she is she is protecting KM in the argument about that video and cutting costs. She says people taking KM comments out of context, lost in translation etc etc, and social media to blame!!

Anndd she's done it again.
It's true when you think about it ...she actually doesn't know

WTF?? She actually said that? Out loud? In front of people?
44:52. After she says that moving forward they will sign players without a bad medical history and who've played more than 30 games a season. All extremely basic recruitment stuff - alarming really.
Only watched the first 5-10 minutes. Will go back later when I have the nerve. Whole thing comes across as very amateurish. And as for Syd Cheeseright - he was my lecturer at Croydon college in 1985 when I did management studies and he was absent minded then - couldn't even introduce himself ...

It is amazing how lucky Curbs and Powell got with their signings working out in this imaginary world of footballer chance that KM seems to believe exists.

No, I understand that. That's the very reason why we haven't signed Messi and Ronaldo - we have absolutely no idea if they'll be any good.
FFS - recruitment isn't an exact science but you at least attempt to establish via a selection process the likelihood of future performance. Although thinking about it, maybe Roland's approach to recruitment is to take someone off the street and see if they'll be any good. That might go some way to explain how we ended up with Meire.
They won't say what they've received in transfer income and allow people to conclude there is a net spend on transfers of £9m. That's not what Joyes actually says - he's just offset the income against operating losses and left the spending as a standalone item. So still no clarity over what the net spend on players is.

I've challenged this again with David Joyes this morning, but not got a reply just yet.
The other part of this is that the £25m headline figure includes repayment of the Lombard loan, but presumably that debt was taken into account in the price RD paid for the club. So its presence here is perhaps double counting for presentational purposes.
Who on earth is the woman talking about people "misinterpretating" [sic] KM's Dublin comments?
Ticket office manager Mandy Anderson-Myers - she is clearly an idiot.
Safeguarding her job ...pathetic
You would expect support from your staff but that performance was embarrassing brown nosing of the highest order, 'my boss', so much so that even Mick Everitt jokingly said that her cheque was in the post. For goodness sake Mandy refer to her as Withchy Poo Ms Meire where's your dignity?
Surely KM would benefit from someone just telling her not to laugh in response to every question
She was probably told years ago by a pseudo-psychologist whilst attending the 'Managing for Dummies' module at law school that there's a very good chance that throughout her career people will laugh at you a lot (correct there then) so defuse the situation by laughing at them - a lot.

I said on another thread that when I win the lottery jackpot tomorrow and buy the club, the first thing i would do after sacking squirrel face is re-appoint Chris Powell as manager.
Sorry Chris but you will now have to wait until after I have sacked the ticket office manager as well. After a life time of watching brown-nosers in action, she takes the biscuit. Honestly, wtf has squirrel face's comments got to do with her?
the woman next to her is... err... distracting... it's like having something beautiful next to something hideous to show how beautiful and how hideous they are.

It could just be that the comparison I kind to her (it would make Kathy Bates look good)...

I think it's very clear what he means, but he won't articulate it because he knows the next question would be what the actual net figure on transfers is, which they are not prepared to disclose. He knows it's been misunderstood in their favour so he lets it lie. I agree re the Lombard loan. He's also omitting to mention the fact that part of the "investment" will have been to cover the interest RD is charging himself.

I WILL NOT SET FOOT INSIDE THE CLUB UNTIL THEY ARE GONE.
That is all.
