Not too sure what the ongoing thread here is for, it's big George.
As for Eidur, our resident Icelandic member grassi was quite recently at a party with Eidur, perhaps I should have got him to ask. Highly doubt we'll sign him.0 -
Well done, give yourself a big ol' pat on the back.KieranRufus said:Haha cannot believe how many people had a chew as soon as I said it. I can confirm all the charlton team did come into my work as they jetted off to Spain, but the Chris Wood part was just for a chew, obviously everyone was very hungry haha! Anyway fingers crossed it is him to make me look mystical, or maybe even someone better, hopefully will be a good season! COYA!

Right so Sue Parkes says no striker has signed today! she knows coz shes out with the squad in Spain! she said we will see if anyone signs tomorrow1
-
If its from Standard Kensuke Nagai,Dudu Biton or George Țucudean would be the one IMO0
-
My aunts best mates father in law said Tom DE SUTTER was meeting the squad in ibi.
Thanks for that. How do you know he's not a country? Hasn't been revealed yet.The Red Robin said:
Even if he was from there he would be Belgian. Not Belgium. He's not a country.CrayAddick said:Another striker with no championship experience and who is belguim. PERFECT!!!

George will be announced on Monday, officially0

Massive over reaction.Greenie Junior said:What a little scrotum. How sad must you be
Every transfer window we get complete and utter bells (often on here) who claim to be "ITK" and spout off names that are supposedly signing, going as far as to give potential dates that they will sign.. They string it out for nearly the entire window all to inflate their own ego as far as I can tell.
Yet what Keiran did was a joke that lasted 10 minutes and was limited to twitter, which he openly admitted was a joke afterwards. Furthermore, when dug out about it he even came on here and explained it.
It went on for 10 minutes and just showed that people believe whatever they read, wherever it comes from, and in comparison to some of the *ahem* "adults" - his post explaining it on here was quite mature.
Perhaps a bit of perspective is due over a 10 minute joke on twitter that ended with him coming clean. Especially in comparison to those who simply lie because they can.
Similarly, from following Keiran on twitter I've seen that hes generally one of the more level headed members of our support. He has a decent outlook on charlton matters and, like me, probably thinks it's a bit weird how people obsess and read so much in to what are often mere mentions of a rumour.19 -
He has a slightly better connection than 99.9% of the rest of us to CAFC as well.2

Read somewhere that we're after a better target man and if we get him George will be back up0

Weekend been and gone still no news !!
Typical0 -
Very few teams actually announce signings on a weekend, because the majority of the non-playing/coaching staff will working Monday-Friday. This is the same for the Football League, and there is a considerably amount of paper work that needs to be signed and sent to the appropriate people, so don't ever anticipate anything to be announce on a Saturday or Sunday.0

Bob 'the tease' Peeters said the player will be signing over the weekend he omitted to let us know when it will be announced.1

Because its easy to do when people are expecting a striker, a bit like wanking in public, we could all do it, but most choose not to!KieranRufus said:Haha cannot believe how many people had a chew as soon as I said it. also because of the bad result on Saturday he couldn't help but spin some good news on a potential transfer to deflect the result of the bad defeat, first game in the UK. I assume he meant next few working days3

It's all smoke and mirrors

if he's from abroad, he'll need international clearance and i'm sure FIFA are still pretty busy after a certain event last night. Peeters is a football manager, not a legal expert. It will happen in the next couple of days i'm sure.0

I bet you. Someone out there has been sitting on twitter the entire weekend refreshing their news feed in hope he will be first to find out the news. Feel for them5

sounds like the club are bursting to say who it is, but for whatever reason it hasn't happened yet. Putting pressure on an agent maybe?SELR_addicks said:0
