surely this is the more attacking option the cousins and poyet "critics" (pricks) have been crying out for. Great signing, although i'm sure the usual suspects will say he's "too attacking and doesn't defend enough". Yawwwwwn.1
-
Friend who's a P'boro fan 'I thought he was shit but he never really played, scored a worldy for us and that was about it. Man utd reserve team captain so im sure he's not a bad player'1
-
Hmm. A left footed physical winger/midfielder who can score from a freekick with captaincy experience. Sounds like a JJ sub / replacement.0
-
I won't pretend i have ever heard of him or get to excited but i can't see how anyone can spin having another potentially creative player in the squad is worse then not having extra bodies at all but i am sure someone will try. ;-)2

On my football manager he signed for Charlton a year later than this season and had an absolute stormer in his time. Scored 20 goals from CAM 2 against me

He is far too attacking and doesn't defend enough.6
-
He's not following any of the lads on twitter so obviously not a team player13

Not got enough hair for our team, surely?!0

First comment on the fbook feed is a good'un... 'Bryan Van Mieghem This guy is horrible I've seen him play at Antwerp earlier this year'
lol1 -
But in the same thread he's been called right footed, lightweight and made of glass.Wheresmeticket? said:Hmm. A left footed physical winger/midfielder who can score from a freekick with captaincy experience. Sounds like a JJ sub / replacement.
A replacement for Green then...3 -
How many games before we hear any of the following in a match thread about him:
Useless, lightweight, not enough effort, waste of space, send him back, prefer Church and that's saying something1 -
Benvenuto Davide - si prega di segnare tanti gol
N.B. Marvin Sordell è pigro e maldestro, si prega non dargli la palla, mai
Forza i Rossi!!!0 -
None - we've already had "lightweight".Chris_from_Sidcup said:How many games before we hear any of the following in a match thread about him:

Oh - in a match thread.
My guess is it will be around the same time that someone posts "Tudgay scores (for Morecombe)"2 -
Tudgay has been shipped back to Forest so a replacement for him.......this is what official CAFC website says. Good stats if he stays injury-free and goals in him.

I'm excited by him, there's a reason Man U haven't completely let go of him.

A (rare, fairly clued up) Man Utd fan at work speaks highly of Petrucci - in the same breath mentioned that he, Ravel Morrison and Pogba were the "big 3" coming through their youth ranks, before Ravel and Pogba had their wage spat and went elsewhere. Petrucci got unfortunately (badly) injured and has spent the last 18 months recovering.
The loans to P'boro and Antwerp were mainly for getting back up to speed, but since he's been back in their reserves set-up he's been made captain and is apparently looking very promising. I don't know how he'll hold up on our quagmire of a playing surface, but I'm fairly hopeful that he can show some of the flair and attacking potency we've been missing.
Welcome Davide13 -
not seen him play so I will say he's:
lightweight/overweight
hard working/lazy
technically gifted/shit
got a powerful shot/is shit
exactly what we've been missing/not what we need at all in our precarious position
earning wages of £40k per week/take home pay is about £4.5k per week4 -
Dave Pet Rucki. Watch out for this demon.
It's pronounced Dav-ede Pet-Roo-chi
Petrucci woah

Let's hope his play is as exotic as his name .. welcome Dave and all the luck in the world to you0

(Based purely on those YouTube clips)
Definitely looks r footed but quite comfortable with left. Clearly spots a short pass quickly (let's make some available) and can change the direction of an attack. Appears most like AA of our current squad; tall, comfortable in possession, but no obvious turn of speed, so prob not an orthodox wide man. As has been suggested if Riga wants us to play through opponents rather than over them, he appears to fit the bill. Seems to enjoy time on the ball too but that will be at a premium in the Champ so hopefully after a stint at Peterborough that won't come as a shock to him.
Another attacking option. Not often we get someone even that high in the Utd. pecking order. Good luck Davide.0 -

After a few stepovers/gives the ball away with his first pass0 -
Having watched the videos on here I would say that if we have had a purple patch in recent memory, it was in the days of Parker, Jensen and Reid and some other so and so spraying the ball around in the middle. In my opinion not having someone doing that job has hurt us badly. I can't tell you that this fellow is the player that we need, but I can tell you that he is certainly the type of player that will make us a better team.1
