    Been on loan at Royal Antwerp in the Belgian League...second division.

    Can't say he looks at the same level as Eagles, seemed very promising when at Roma but 22 now and hasn't come close to Man Utd's first team.

    Has Championship experience though, 4 games on loan at Peterborough last year.

    hes actually a name i recognise from football manager, his stats are decent, seems to be more of a creator than a battler and is a decent signing for a side like charlton. But i have no idea what he's like in real life.

    I'm thinking RD is running a version of football manager and looking at all the decent players at championship level that might be free.

    Could this possibly mean we won't be getting Eagles now? EDIT - just seen that Eagles has turned us down, good to see that we had a back up option.

    It'll definitely be one or the other IMO. Good player with a high reputation, didn't realise he was already 22 though.

    would be nice to have the same type of player as astrit just incase his fitness is not upto scratch or gets injured, plus if you look at the bench it might keep church or green away from the team for a few games

    More chance of getting a youngster in like this , was very highly rated , still don't think it's the winger we need but the more bodies in the better .

    We've won a few on the trot and we're still bringing players in. Shows that the owner is willing to back the manager.

    I remember when FM had Mikel Alonso as our best player, so i would take the stats with a pinch of salt.

    I wouldn't be surprised to hear the likes of Jenkinson and Oxlade Chamberlain are on close to 10k + a week at arsenal.

    Unless a player stays at the club that brought him through the youth ranks their wages inflate to disgusting amounts per week and many may never make 20 appearances for their new club but still be set for life.

    You'd be surprised how much some youngsters at top clubs earn. Though £95,000 a year is about a couple thousand a week, which is pennies in terms of the Rooneys of the world.

    Indeed, for a senior player it would be nothing at all. But to me it seems counter-productive to pay youth players so much: too much too young can be very damaging.
