2014-15 Season Ticket Prices

The cost of using the lounges in west stand this season is, from memory, minimum of an extra £500 on top of the cost of the season ticket!! That's a lot of money for a cup of tea and biscuits at half time.letthegoodtimesroll said:I've been trying work out what a season ticket in the west/upper west with entrance to one of those lounges would cost...anybody know if its actually published by charlton ?...

Have car park prices gone up?0
-
Does that mean that all seats are up for grabs now ? Is there any time for season tickets holders to decide what they want to do or they are threatened with losing their seats immediately or is there a deadline or something ?0

This will be the case. Many North Uppers are planning the move.Valley McMoist said:Block A is the new singing section...

Any Valley Express prices yet?0

I'm thinking about buying one in block A. Are a lot of others moving? Do you think it will become another singing section?0

So the nice East Stand block A & B peace and quiet is going to be ruined by the oiks of the North Upper. I suppose I'll have to queue longer for my half time Bovril as well, while all the North Stand lager louts top themselves up3

Just got a letter explaining about the north upper and crossbars , basically saying no one has to move or pay any extra if they don't want to . I wasn't botherd anyway way but good touch for the clarification .1

Why were they sending you a letter if it does not affect you in anyway?Yann897 said:Just got a letter explaining about the north upper and crossbars , basically saying no one has to move or pay any extra if they don't want to . I wasn't botherd anyway way but good touch for the clarification .
Whole shambles the whole idea and now they have backtracked, that Ben Kensall speaks very well and is very professional, but that idea was a bit short of some common sense needed in football

Seems ironic that i'm planning on moving from the west upper to the north upper as its going to be 'up and coming' with the crossbars facility and all the current residents in the nu are moving out to somewhere cheaper because they can no longer afford it. Like the housing market, social re-engineering of run down areas for football I guess. It will be interesting to see if encouraged by the few remaining nu singers us old timers get caught up in it all and start the odd chorus of some long forgotten covered end chant...ay ay ay ay charlie is better than yashin...

However in Mayfair, you don't get your own individual pothole.cafcfan said:
No I think the West Stand car park is still "only" £800. Looking at it another way that's £30.77 per game (excl. cup games for simplicity) or about £15 per hour. That's close to four times the cost of a pay & display in Mayfair!MrOneLung said:Have car park prices gone up?

but isn't this what the old `Red division' wanted. To get up close with the away fans. It could be a good idea to get a bit of atmosphere in what would be a dead corner.

Another thing about the East Stand A block. At that price it's going to be chock-a-block full of season ticket holders - right?
So, let's assume (don't laugh) that we actually manage to get an attractive home fixture in the FA Cup. Don't we have to give over part of the East Stand to meet our "15% of tickets to away supporters" obligation? That has to be the A (and B?) block end of the East Stand I guess. So presumably there will be lots of unhappy people having to give up their seats and be relocated for the match?1 -
Prob use the more expensive west stand seats....i dunno just an idea.0

I don't think anyone paying £150 for a season ticket can have any complaints about being moved for a cup match.
Regarding banter wiith the away end, from many of the seats in block A you can see very little of the away end. In some seats you can't see the away end at all. Might be some disappointed people when they see their seats for the first time. But again, £150, there can be no complaints. But you might be tempted to shuffle in to block B.0 -

Spoke to the box office yesterday about renewing to West Upper for 8 of us from various parts of the ground.
It appears that East Stand Block A is selling really well and at least 50% are new ST Holders.
Good news.3 -
Sorted out our 8 tickets and the moving of a couple of East Stand VIPs to the West Upper today.
Got to see a nice layout of the seats available on the PC and chose exactly which seats we wanted for the forseeable future. Bearing in mind we're moving some from the East stand, The North Stand and the Family Enclosure, it took the box office less than ten minutes to sort everything out.
Excellent service.1 -
I should imagine, it wasn't too hard a task, with most of the West Stand to choose from :-)Addickted said:Sorted out our 8 tickets and the moving of a couple of East Stand VIPs to the West Upper today.

Wonder if any Kent commuters are using this to park and then take the train to London? A bargain if it includes non match day parking, huh?!cafcfan said:

Yes this is true. The seats right next to the wall you cannot see the away end. But this is down to poor design of the stand. There would of been Nothing wrong with a low fence down the side of the stand rather than a big metal wall. But metal walls are good for banging on. For £150 you make do I guess. If we take A block and B block it will be a good crack down that end. Plus we will all be standingEr_Be_Ab_Pl_Wo_Wo_Ch said:I don't think anyone paying £150 for a season ticket can have any complaints about being moved for a cup match.

It could look something like this next season..
