So at the risk of being too controversial a £150 seat in block A and an U11 seat in Block E and you have a reserved seat that should cost £450 for £200!
Even with a full house you have your U11 seat waiting for you.
Enforcing that is completely impossible without having a separate turnstile and barriers keeping the blocks segregated.
However I think it is a very, very clever way of boosting sales.0 -

Next they'll be charging £20 for a lower section Jimmy Seed ticket and £30 for upper for the better view. And also offering them an early bird ticket with cheaper pints of beer.
Not buying it. You could walk for 20 seconds along the East Stand and you have moved from a £150 spot to a £450 one. ffs1 -
Any news for students who want to be season ticket holders but can't get to every game? I once suggested a 10 match 'carnet', as the pricing is so complicated, a special deal for students would not be that complex to arrange would it?1

This may be me misreading things but I have a 5 year season ticket in east block b which equates to £400 a year. If the price is now £250 am I right to feel I am losing out?0

I'm not convinced it doesn't. It enables the club to charge a lot for the best view seats and, ignoring those that will cheat the system and pay £150 to sit somewhere else, it also enables those that wouldn't have bought a £300 seat to get one for £150 which might increase the income?Henry Irving said:

If we assume that most of that block will be sold they won't have to much of a problem with match day prices and, frankly, it doesn't matter how many games those fans go to if the £150 is pretty much what they would have paid going a handful of times a season.
It does seem too cheap to me, but I appreciate that there are those that don't have the money and a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) can now secure entrance to The Valley for an average price of £17.40. At those prices I can see a number of children being brought along. If it's Dad (or Mum) and two children that price drops to £10.87 - Wow!
Also it means that I will only have to pay £200 to sit behind you next season!

Love the idea of mapping matchday prices on to this and then differentiating between different matches. Nobody, including the staff, would have a hope of knowing how much a seat will cost without looking it up.1

Probably not, but I (for example) could buy my Son a seat (my current one) next to my Dad (concession price) and buy my own seat in Block A.LargeAddick said:

It was said at the last FF meeting that there were "revolutionary" plans for ST pricing. I think they meant a big change rather than a revolt from "customers".
Those ideas were meant to be presented for consultation to the next FF meeting. Were they? Who was consulted. Razil is suggesting that the Trust was but when and on what?1 -

Can you physically not buy a season ticket in that light blue section unless you want Crossbars membership, or does that just mean that to be a member of crossbars you have to buy a seat in that bit?0 -
Sorry, I didn't word that very well. It just seems from the graphic that the majority of the NU is now part of the 'exclusive' crossbars package. I was wondering if you could buy a ticket in the NU without having to pay an extra 230 quid for some shitty bar.shine166 said:
