    Thuram 6 did nothing wrong, difficult pitch for kicking
    Wilson 6.5 attacked well at times
    Morrison 4.5 had one of those games & was spectacularly useless in attacking positions
    Wood 7 distributed quite well, joined the midfield effectively
    Evina 4 did a few things right but fundamentally not a very good footballer
    Cousins 5.5 not a winger, not a finisher
    Poyet 8 really, really good, went back to split the CBs in possession and start attacks superbly
    Ajdarevic 8.5 a class above everyone else on the pitch
    Jackson 6 fairly anonymous but showed some nice touches
    Sordell 5.5 not so much 'lazy' as 'unpenetrative' this week, linked up nicely with the others at times
    Reza 7 looked an absolute handful and used his strength & touch brilliantly to bring down direct aerial passes

    Finally someone who agrees with my comments about ajdarevic. Easily out best player technically, excellent distribution control and even tricks that come off. Our best player today ( closely followed by poyet who was outstanding) and for a good player he has effort to go with it and wins headers

    Wilson - 4 - poor as per usual
    Morrison - 6 - no protection
    Wood - 6 - see morro
    Evina - 2 - dreadful, painful to watch
    Cousins - 7.5 - going to be quality
    Poyet - 8.5 - controlled the game. Different gravy. Him and cousins head and shoulders above the rest
    Ajdarevic - 7 - hot and cold
    Jackson - 6.5 - legs are going :(
    Sordell - 4 - tried but struggled
    Reza - 5.5 - lightweight

    I'd like to see possession stats. We controlled the game but had no one to put it in the net! Shame as the youngsters were very good.

    Thuram - 6 - didn't have much to deal with
    Wilson - 5 - mislaid too many today
    Morrison - 5 - a match to forget, messes around with the ball too much too often and gets caught out too much
    wood - 5 - as above
    Evina - 4 - fundamentally unsuited to this team, every good tackle countered by two shockers
    Cousins - 7 - energetic, but faded towards the end.
    Poyet - 8 (MOM) - controlled our midfield, we looked much more vulnerable without him
    Ajdarevic - 7 - A lazy kermogant, excellent skills but don't expect him to do too much running. Frequently out of position
    Jackson - 6 - good when on the ball but disappeared for sections of the game
    Sordell - 5 - not a good game for him, looked threatening n the first 20 minutes
    Reza - 8 - looked lethal, strong player always fighting for the ball

    Church 5 largely anonymous
    Green 3 - shocking performance, gave away a goal and mislaid every pass/corner/free kick he had.

    Hauled in long passes on his chest and retained possession reliably; muscled ahead of defenders. As Sir Chrissy says, he fell over a couple of times - in search of penalties. He's a very strong player.
