    If that's true, I'm disgusted.

A twelve year old girl and someone just doing their job. Nice one, Spanners.

When we met back at the car our driver who was sitting away from us,said she left when the first seat flew down from the top tier. True?

Was in the upper tier and saw the chair (or part of a chair anyway) thrown, one of the stewards had to take a quick step back to avoid taking it in the head.

Didn't see any ballboys near the flares etc

A flare on the pitch, how embarrassing. That sounds like something Palace would do.

We certainly made em angry!! By that burger stand outside the cafe I almost got ironed out by this animal looking bloke who was none too pleased about the flares etc, literally walked stright into him side stepped him whilst he was offering anyone out who was interested, looking at him I certainly was not!! Hairy indeed!

were his knuckles scraping along the ground?
  • Lets at least wait and see what was true and whats been exaggerated, those are very serious comments about the steward and the 12 year old.

Only bad bit outside the ground was where the police formed a line between the fans but they were still left close enough for people to throw things.
They knew they'd f**ked up, and no surprise thats when old bill get violent.

Bullys always pick on the weak, none of them are man enough to take on anybody who has a chance to fight back, once a scumbag always a scumbag, end of.

My 13 year old daughter asked if we could go to this game and I said no. Go ahead and call me a coward, but at the moment I don't regret that decision.
You're right though PL54, Bunny will be on here soon to explain that she punched herself in the face and anyway, the bad people threw a flare, so she deserved it.

He was about 45 to 50, looked harder than a coffin nail, serious specimen, those knuckles dragging along the floor were almost scraping along my face! Grim, very grim.

Did the flare come form the lower tier? Why would we not get the lower tier again?

they we all giving it the big 'un outside the ground afterwards, didn't bother me at all, quite amusing really as you knew it was just a show from the morons. If they wanted it to kick off, they would of just steamed in. They didnt.

I did see the old bill belting a few of there boys with batons in the home end nearest to our end, and they went in to some of our support by the look of things. Flare was nowhere near anyone, the red smoke bomb was close to a steward.

Nothing cowardly Uboat, i didn't go as i didn't want my 9 year old there. IMO there were some very naive views on here about what would happen.

Your not a coward because if anything had happened to her you would never have forgiven yourself. I refused to go back to their ground and patronise them 40 years ago after a very close shave, so what does that make me? Nothing changes with those scumbags.

By the way has anybody told Soapy-Jones its safe to come out from behind his sofa?

Greenie Junior, what do you really expect, seeing as the Red Division all started the flares/smokebombs (I can't tell the difference) thing - which I haven't got a problem with. But that one was close to hitting a young innocent kid.

If it weren't you lot, then I take back the sarky remark.
  • The first smoke bomb I saw was at Wolves, the day the RD first started. They claim they had nothing to do with it and I have no reason to doubt them.
  • They were desperate for it at the end with anyone. Saw it go off under the arches outside the ground

There's no chance we'll get the lower tier again. No chance. I saw the flare, didn't think it was anywhere near hitting anyone, but I don't see the point of the flares anyway. I thought our support was good.

Flare and smoke grenade from our end were embarassing. Pretty dangerous too. And the millwall fan who threw his chapstick at us at the end - hope you have dry lips tonight.

Why do people behave like this (flare throwing and 12 year old girl punching)?
    Absolutely bizarre.
I get the feeling some CAFC fans want us to have a 'harder' image. Could be that I'm getting old but I like the fact that we're a friendly family club who is not seen as a rival by anyone.
As has already been posted on here, I hope the prats who threw the chair/flare/smoke bombs are grassed up.
We don't want that at our club.

Charlton done themselves proud after. As for Millwall chavs fronting the escort then locking themselves in shops...oh dear!

All of this is going to result in a very uncomfortable afternoon in SE7 when they come for the return visit.
  • I really hope we DON'T draw them in the Fa cup tomorrow , don't want to ever go back to that dump again.
