Jonesy needs to make sure we don't end up with a case of 'after the lord Mayors show' with Wrexham.

It's going to be a tough game. They're a physical side like we are.
  • Mike Dodds made the point that he was never on the ropes ...

two men are boxing in a ring and one of them is getting knocked out

If I had to pick a side for Wrexham to play away, outside of us, I'd pick Lincoln on recent form. Then Stockport who Wycombe will play!

I don’t know, but it sounds like a load of bollocks.

Edit. Unless he lives in Amersham or somewhere like that.

A thumping win and a top performance. Two cracking finishes from Lloyd Jones and Luke Berry (channeling his inner Bobby Charlton) put us in control and Wycombe offered absolutely nothing in the first half. We did have a scare in the last few seconds when Lloyd sliced the ball and Gillesphey just managed to chest it wide.

What was particularly impressive was that we kept our foot very firmly on Wycombe's throat, rather than sitting back and running the risk of them pulling one back and making a game of it. 'Near Post' Norris gifted Matty Godden the third and Karoy Anderson's header from Small's fine inswinging cross was the icing on the cake.

The team was packed with good performances. Jones and Gillesphey were outstanding at the back, Docherty, Coventry and Anderson were excellent in midfield and Godden led the line with his usual quality. We have absolutely nothing to fear from Wrexham and are well capable of going there and winning. Wycombe also have two very difficult final games, away to Orient and at home to Stockport, so there is also a chance of us overhauling them. All to play for.

Yeah we saw him waiting for a cab outside the ground as we were on our way out. But might make sense if he lives close by.

all been said, an immense, unstoppable win .. whoever we get in the play offs need to be VERY afraid .. best performance of this season and probably of a few recent ones as well .. 100/10

The good thing is that Nathan will not let up irrespective of automatics or play offs, he demands a lot and I'm sure the players will not feel deflated if they have to go on for another 3 games. Just look at where they've come from, its amazing to be in with a chance of promotion

It definitely looks like their bloke ran into Chuks, rather than Chuks deliberately blocking him. Still wont get overturned though- but it barely warrants a booking.

Jones was very good but I thought Gillesphey was fucking brilliant today! Man marked Kone out of the game! He didn’t even get a sniff!

It’s no worse than the grappling my numerous players at a corner.

    It’s not a red.

It's Wrexham's to lose, the pressure will be on them to see it over the line.

    Aneke lives in Petts Wood.
IF he did travel home alone, it wouldnt be for proximity!!!

Mannion has been absolutely faultless. Barely gets a mention on this forum because he doesn't make any mistakes.

I’m not sure Chuks even did anything to warrant a yellow. Absolutely bizarre but don’t see a head butting motion whatsoever. Don’t know how anyone can watch that video and say it’s a red card
It’s tricky to tell, but at the point of impact, I think the referee is looking the other way, so I’m not sure how it made a decision. It didn’t look like any of the other officials said anything.

Harsh on Chuks. Player seems to run straight into him. Worth appealing?

Unless all the other players live in Buckinghamshire.

Chuks Aneke shouldn't be the story tonight after a Clinical performance against Wycombe who had conceded 1 goal in 5 matches before the thrashing today; yes we should appeal as finally we saw Leahy run into Chuks after they appeared to be joined together for 12 seconds !

I understand why we made the three subs in the 78th minute but we were passing for fun and they were struggling but they had the ball back as suddenly the quality of the balls to Chuks and Hylton were in the air and they started having more possession despite the game being already won it would be ironic if we miss promotion on GD 🤷🏻‍♂️

I really don't blame Nathan for the subs but it did mess up our dominance of the ball as their heads were dropping.
