As a bit of reality, if we beat Wrexham on Saturday then we're in with a shout of autos on the last day, which we haven't been since my first Charlton game as a child in 2010! Away at Oldham

Berry really shows his quality in the goals he has scored this year. I think pretty much each finish (maybe except the Orient goal) has demonstrated excellent technique - given the number of assists too hopefully his injury is only minor.
Agreed and hope it's nothing serious, though I thought Anderson was pretty much faultless as his replacement today.

Strange how the season pans out. A lowly Northampton looked sharp and effective against us while Wycombe players appeared to be on the beach already.

This was a complete away performance. Two first half crackers and then full control and two more in the second half. The momentum is with us. If it's coming down to the plays offs who will want to face Charlton? We are the team to fear.

Fantastic performance. Lets hope the knocks heal it time for Wrexham. Go up there and wipe the smile of the yanks faces, whatever happens we are the best team outside Birmingham, we proved it today and we will prove it again.

Outstanding.  Regardless of the Wrexham result, the confidence that would’ve given us is priceless

We’ve really got a chance to put Wrexham under pressure next week.  I’m not expecting some fairytale ending (other than a Wembley win 🤞), but it’s nice to be involved in such a good game

don’t underestimate that Orient win either.  Wycombe will be right up against it, and we’ve still got to worry about Stockport - they could easily finish above us, nicking that 3rd/4th spot for the home leg first

Well done lads. Excellent performance and such clinical finishing.

Would love us to get 2nd, but as long as we do not accumulate key injuries/suspensions now, we will have had practice games against Wycombe and Wrexham. But then again, so will have they against us. You can say the play-offs is a lottery, but generally the 3 best teams do get themselves promoted.

TBH I would have preferred to lose to Wycombe rather than Wrexham Disny wankers and fcuk up their promotion chances......hate them that much

Wycombe looked hopeless very surprised at how poor they looked . If they play like that again they'll finish behind both us and Stockport

Aneke’s red will not be rescinded. Sadly, he lost the plot and fully deserved to go.

Wow. Great atmosphere all game, the first half was fairly eden but we took our chances well, which they were toothless.

The 3rd goal was hilarious, and killed the contest. We then effectively declared on 4 with our subs.

Chuks was either completely stupid or incorrectly sent off, but he had been grappling with the Wycombe player for 30 seconds before the incident, which was daft in the circumstances

Superb at the back, we have them nothing. TC was well marked, but it didn't matter.

If we don't get 2nd, I'd love Wycombe in the playoffs

It's also really good to see that although TC had a quiet game by his standards, we win convincingly anyways. Shows the quality and strength we have throughout the squad.

Stat I heard on Talk Sport seems almost too good to be true. We've taken the lead in 22 matches this season. We've won 21of those and drawn 1. Can anyone confirm this?

That must be the Lincoln game then.

Yes it's correct (at least scoring the first goal and then winning). The only game we didn't win was Blackpool away.

We've dropped a lead against Barnsley at Oakwell in the dying seconds but they scored the first goal that night.

Yes, they didn't press us high at all...... which suits us I think.

I think the stat is after scoring the first goal, the only blemish being Blackpool away

our stat for going ahead is similar but with Barnsley away being another game we took the lead and dropped points

If anybody at the game has video of the scuffle, please send to the club. Sounds like red could be rescindable.
Their player kicks Chucks while they are holding each other. He could well get a red for that. Chucks therefore has good reason to hold onto him to prevent another assault.
They then grapple again and their player kinda dives at his chest and goes down pulling Chucks with him.
After the game Sky showed the highlights and they showed the incident from two different angles.
Definitely no head or hand involved so I think they will get it rescinded just on the Sky evidence.
Every little bit helps if someone has footage though.
Exactly how I saw it too. Chuks had his hands by his side when the bloke has a fist full of chuks shirt front. Chuks backed off, the bloke ran into him.
