I believe Rich only said we were working on a deal with him. Most jumped on the bandwagon to say it was done but because of the tragic events of young Ethan passing away it was going to wait a day.
As Carey was the only 'under the radar' transfer so far it felt like the momentum has brought the other 8 players in.
If Knibbs is a free then I thought an auction might be happening behind the scenes with the length of contract and wages a major component of the deal.
'Done deal' is a dangerous statement without Penny or Scarfy to back it up.
It's a rumour thread so no real issue with the speculation.

Did Knibbs sign the other day & we just delayed announcing it due to the tragic news of the U10 lad. Or he's had a medical & the signing was delayed ?
We might look stupid if we've delayed signing him & he goes elsewhere. He must be frustrated with it all as I'm sure he would have wanted to be involved yesterday against Ipswich.4 -
I very much doubt that we have put a hold on the Knibbs signing due to the marketing and comms team being busy.
Perhaps he met with 3 or so Championship clubs to hear them out.7 -
