The CH and GK from the same club who have premier and championship experience wouldn’t be Beadle and Offiah would it?
No as Offiah has never played in the Championship and Beadle has never played in the premier league.

Does anyone have a sense of our current wage bill?
    Google says 7m
That may be right, at the start of last season it was 7.3 million, since the January transfer window and the release of Chuks, Watson and Hylton leaving the playing squad then that 7 mill seems close. The start of last seasons quote did not include new contracts for players such as Tyreece Campbell and also we need to factor in Small leaving, although his wage was half of what Chuks was taking.

If we're signing two players from the same club, surely it'll be Luton, as is traditional.

We signed three from Swindon not long ago.

Luton would be excellent if it was Thomas Kaminski as the keeper , bags of championship experience with Blackburn and Luton and Prem experience with Luton too. Just can't figure out the CB bit from their squad. There's no one there that fits Pavs description, plenty of good solid CBs but no one that I'd count as being able to play RWB

Shame Mads Andersen has been injury plagued with them , wouldn't have minded him as a CB option - bags of championship experience and was outstanding for Barnsley when they were good under Stendel and Struber.

Considering the £11m uplift in central income a much bigger wage budget seems realistic.

Whether that is in the £15m range (the poster said under £17m) I don't know but I don't think it is out of the question.

I am dubious, without doubting @Pavoren007 was told this, how a shareholder in another club knows what our budget is.
This bit is explainable - I am friends with another EFL club chairman and he explained that there is quite a lot of transparency around wage bills in each division - they have to report to EFL and club’s see one another’s - it is the transfer kitty side that is more cloak and dagger but you can can gauge what is what by end of financial year.

Offiah’s played in the Premier league hasn’t he? Has 6 apps for Brighton. And Beadle has lots of Championship apps.

Could be Reece Burke, has been injured though but featured in Prem.

Wasn't it mentioned that they'd got quite a few assists last season? Could that help narrow it down lol

Shareholder of another league club here at Glasto when I told them I was a CAFC fan he told me we are currently negotiating for their GK and CH. Both have had lots of Championship and some Prem league experience. Very good standard. Can’t say more because I show my face on the button and don’t want to blow cover as the shareholder I refer to knows me through business…
A reminder of what Pav said as there seems to be some confusion. Both have played lots in the Champ and a bit in the Prem which rules out a lot of the names said as they have one or the other

It might be a team promoted to the Premier League this season that are upgrading themselves and have to move people on, or a team just relegated to League 1.

    Hovarth and Chambers at Cardiff?

declaring a wage bill and disclosing a wage budget are two very different things, no?

Didn’t Pav say a good assist record? Shouldn’t be too many RWBs we can realistically sign with a good assist record PL and Champ experience and who can also play CB?

Didn’t specify side but said “high assist rate” and could play full back or wing back

If it's a LWB/CB - someone mentioned Amarii Bell as a suggestion a few days ago? Just left Luton.

Hoping this information wasn’t relayed at 4am by a sweaty bloke with big pupils looking for some chewing gum and a hug

True, was it specifically last season, or in general?
