  • Be interesting if our three international players play tonight .? What about it Nathan?
  • Gonna be 0-0
  • Actually looking forward to watching Charlton games again ! Enthusiasm well & truly rekindled. So although that usually means a kick in the teeth & a loss I’m going for another win. Not sure what score but wouldn’t be surprised if we bang in at least 3 tonight. Sod it. That’s done it now !
  • Last time we beat them, Ricardo Fuller tore his hamstring.

I also recall Marcus Maddison getting an undeserved winner for them late on at The Valley a few years back.

Due to scoring a worldy no less!
  • An earlyish goal will help tonight. I imagine Posh will park the bus and we can, sometimes, struggle a bit to break down teams that do that (e.g. Shrewsbury). If we can get a breakthrough early, it'll help open up space as they have to attack a bit more and may sap their confidence which will hopefully make for a more comfortable evening.

    3-0 Doc, TC, Leaburn.
  • This is normally the type of game that we slip up on but I really get the feeling crazy NJ and his band of merry men won’t allow that tonight.

    3-0 comfortable 3 points

My god, that was a while back! An absolute cracker then he hit the deck straight away and he was gone! Id completely forgotten about that.
  • We must be getting close to the point where the crowd numbers and atmosphere step up to promotion chasing mode.Tomorrow night under the lights seems like a good time for it to happen.
I'm not expecting a big crowd. Miserable winter weather, and City vs Madrid in the Champions League is a tempting alternative for many.
You are of course joking City v Madrid.
Why would I be joking? The City vs Madrid playoff is a genuinely massive game, and on a cold February evening WILL have an impact on the attendance tonight. That's the reality of 3rd division football

I’m in the middle of the Caribbean Sea and have had to splash out a lot of money to buy WIFI via satellite in order to stream the match. I just hope the team put on a display similar to Saturday and bag the 3 points. And the satellite wifi works!!!

Funnily I had to use VPN to say I’m in Spain in order to access payment for the stream and then change vpn to USA to make the payment. I’m not confident that the internet will be strong enough for the stream but fingers crossed 🤞

The only change from Saturday. Seem a tad odd given Birmingham is on Saturday (seems odd he names a unchanged side yet again)

When was the last time we changed a player?

Bristol Rovers... as its the last three games that we've started with Ramsay and Godden

    Before Ramsay came back in
  • Saturday wasn't a taxing game, we were in cruise control in the second half, so the players won't be tired. Hopefully we can use our bench if we have a comfortable lead

Guess the lads who came on loan to us didn't have a first team commitment built in. But hey, if it works it works!

The next blooper Gillesphey does , McIntyre won't just be on the bench.

Pretty much why we signed Gilbert and McIntyre.
There just standing ins for Gillesphey and Berry. I hope Gilbert gets more than just keep the ball in the corner duty (if we are winning).

Pretty much my point about signing Gilbert and McIntyre.

McIntyre was a replacement for Potts, rather than Gillesphey's, and will hopefully be less injury prone and available more when we actually need him.

    You right.
    * McIntyre is the replacement for Potts and Gilbert is Campbells replacement.

I was referring to the starting 11 though (McIntyre filling in for Gillesphey) not the full squad.

The fact they are not in the starting 11 (to which I thought he would of introduced at least one of them by now) shows they were signed to be in the squad and not necessarily signed to start.
  • I thought Gilbert and McIntyre were artists? 🤓

You are talking crap, which I believe was actually one of their paint techniques!💩
  • That bloody pitch isn't getting any better is it!
  • Just want to point out that Anderson wasn’t in the squad on Saturday as he recently lost his grandmother and was given time to go and attend her funeral. Glad he’s back now and hope he’s in a good enough headspace and can contribute when he’s back on the pitch.
