Last 5 wickets went for 12 runs in 3 overs.

We were making a fist of it at 160/5. Could & maybe should have got 250+.

All over inside 3 days ?
Yes. Very poor. For 40 minutes after Stoke’s wicket, Brooks and Smith were playing us back in with potentially at least a score of 250 being possible. Sometimes you do have to play the percentages and not fall into the trap of aiming to hit sixes when fielders are posted on an impossibly long boundary on the leg side. Bazball amateur hour (or half hour)!

    Oh here we go.

At least Crawley survived 5 balls !

I suppose that makes us ahead of the game...😀

Apart from a wayward 3rd ball that was a great over from Archer, wicket maiden

There was, probably, no doubt in the umpire's mind that it was hitting. The question was just whether it pitched outside leg or not.

The one thing we can probably guarantee that Labuschagne will try and be there for a long time and not a good time. The opposite of us in fact.

We have to take early wickets simply because I doubt that the Aussies will bat quite so irresponsibly once the shine does go.

Any idea when Khawaja can come in?

Edit: It's now, which is annoying as I'd like to see Head have to face the ball while it's got some shine

Ironic applause as Labuschagne actually manages to get bat on ball for a block!

    0-1 off 4 overs

Appreciate that Archer is worth his weight in gold but he seems to have that much round his neck.

One and a half stumps to aim at for Pope but had he done so then Labuschagne was gone.
  • Got to hit them there
  • Smith keen to get off strike!

Oh dear I didn't expect to wake up to us being all out.... As bad as it reads I'm guessing?

Aussies are miles behind the required run rate at 15-1 off 10. We were 43-3.
