Unfortunate that the one Charlton fan in the Kent team wasn't in the team, as Zak is with England!

I was impressed with Finch's cameo, I don't remember him playing those funky shots before, I assume he has been working on this part of his game.
Not so sure about that....Zak's dad is an old mate and is Millwall thru and thru
Zak's  dad Terry who is a good mate of mine  is a Millwall  fan.
He's dad came from Bermondsey and was a Docker.

But I promise you  Zak  is Charlton

It's great to hear when after having an education Zak came over to the light from the dark Dystopian docker's den.
You can thank me and my two brothers for that.
But as hard as we tried we couldn't get Terry to convert.

Knowing you and your brother you probably took him out and got Zak bolloxed

  • 212 all out and a lead of exactly 100 for us

The youngster I have mentioned as one to watch, 17 year old left arm spinning all rounder, Oliver Butterfill, cleaned up the tail with 3-19.
  • Is another of our youngsters Leo Selvey-Clinton anything to do with the former players Grahame, Richard and Paul Clinton? According to their wiki pages, their full name is Selvey Clinton (no hyphen).

Yes, he's Richard's son. Captained Tonbridge school last year when they lost to Harrow in the semi final of the national schools cup. Good player.

Thanks. Thought it seemed too much of coincidence, knowing the multi generational nature of cricket families!
  • Unchanged squad for tomorrow’s game
  • 170-8 at close and a lead of 270. Should be a good day's play tomorrow.

Is that the same Buterfill family who have all played for Bromley ?

Yep - James' son and has a younger brother too. Ollie made the Bunbury two years ago and although he is the same in mould as Jaydn Denly in that they are both left arm spin all rounders, I think Ollie will be more of a bowler and Jaydn more of a batter i,e, a similar comparison might be Liam Dawson as against Jacob Bethell.
