  • I think we could count REG as an alternative to Coventry/Docherty, but definitely not Edun. If he’s even coming off the bench in that role we are in trouble

Haven't MK Dons also got new rich Arab based owners too? Crowley would have been a bit of a punt but fitted the mould of what we need.

Just zoomed in on the folder icons on the computer. I think I can see that one says “Bitches”  another … is it… “Nice breads”?

He was brought in to play advanced when he's not an advanced midfielder. Docherty is still struggling to adapt to that. Who knows what Campbell is like in his more natural position, but I've got a feeling it's a lot better than we've seen. Still he can't play that role so happy for him to move on quickly.

Been on the bench in the last six games, and played nine minutes vs. Northampton

You've got to think that even Nathan Jones isn't impressed with that much limited game time. I know we've not lost any of them (apart from last night), but to not be involved at all, and so give others a little bit of rest...
If NJ ain't keen surely he can just terminate the loan this month?

Only if there is such a clause in the loan. I thought it was a season long loan. On the flip side it would be prudent from their point of view for Luton to have a recall clause in the case of a permanent transfer.

Campbell is one of those players that from the first time I saw him I thought I would give him the benefit of the doubt but in my mind I thought “what a load of old shit”

since then I have yet to see anything that makes me think there is a player in there so he joins the ranks of Bonne, Spongfoot Foot, and David Davis in looking shit and continuing to be shit.
I suspect most of us just kept thinking about THE Alan Campbell when he was signed but to give this one credit I thought he was outstanding in the win over Birmingham. For whatever reason I don’t think we’ve seen the player from that day since.

He was and his career suggests he is better than what we have seen overall. It happens sometimes.

    Edited for you.
  • I can't bring myself to go through all of this but are we actually linked with anyone?

In regards to Campbell I think he's had one decent game vs Birmingham and that's it!

I wrote on twitter after the Preston game that I genuinely think we need to cut our losses with Gas and try and get a fee for him this window as his re-sale value will plummet come the summer. What's he on a 2 or 3 year deal?

Has all the markings as being the pound for pound worst signing in our history.
  • There have got to be some Roland signings where money was paid which was well and truly wasted?
  • What about Nicky Ajose
  • Surely no player comes close to the Danish Ronaldo, Martin Christensen for pound for pound waste.
